It's a shame that a store of this magnitude has to price gouge it's customers who hold their credit card. Interest rates on the card are thru the roof and now they want to charge $2.99 a month for paper statements. They have tax write offs and business expenses they can claim on taxes. This falls under the junk fees that President Biden is fighting to remove. Imagine everyone that gets a statement paying an additional $2.99 per month. I guess it's a good gig if you can convince your customers to fall for it. This corporate greed has to come to halt! Hope that $2.99 per month serves them well because I will never spend another dime in this store and for my friends and family who have the credit card...I will educate them on another...

The cashier was unnecessarily rude, an older lady with spikey hair. My daughter found a swimsuit she liked and the sizes didn't match up. I asked if it was a set to make sure I wasnt just missing the extra tag and she snottily said, "Looks that way." So then I tried to see if Burke's would allow us to buy just the part that fit since they were the only set, and she acted like I was annoying and doing something wrong by even asking. A simple, I'm sorry but no, would have been a better reply. Then, I suggested they label it so another customer who may not be paying attention wouldn't buy it without noticing the mismatched sizes and she all but yelled at me. The employees who work here are consistently helpful and friendly. Everyone asked if I had found what I wanted, and could they help me in any way. The demeanor was so nice, I asked one employee if they had meetings before the store opened daily to get their happy faces on. She replied, "It helps when you have a great manager." So, kudos to the manager of this Surfside Beach, SC store! Your employees...
