Mislead by sales reps to open their credit card only to be denied the âpromisedâ and advertised discount.
When I went to the store the clerk convinced me to open a Kohls charge card for the additional discount. I was hesitant but figured what the heck I need a discount on my purchase. She said the discount would apply to the ENTIRE Kohls charge purchase. So I opened the credit card but I wasnât purchasing enough on that particular order and had another coupon to use. I asked if I could wait to use it and she said yes it is saved in my app. Sure enough... there it was.
Today, February 25th 2017, around 6:30 pm my wife and I went to the store. I told her I had this coupon for our entire purchase. She asked me what it excluded and I didnât know. So I open the app and see that it has zero exclusions. When I look for exclusions it simply says entire charge card purchase. So we shopped for about 30 minutes. Picked out work out clothes and some shoes. Go to the front scan the items ($620). The clerk asks if I have any Kohls cash and I responded no. She asks if I wanted to open the credit card and I said I already have one, in fact I want to use the coupon. Then she scans it and says it excludes these items. I responded by saying it has no exclusions and I even pulled up another coupon WITH the exclusions. She agreed it was weird but could not offer an explanation. I told her I ONLY opened this credit card for the additional discount and now I have been damaged with a credit app that lowers my score. I asked to speak with the manager and she calls over a female manager named Andy. She also agreed and said she would do nothing for me. At that point I was embarrassed and frustrated so we left the store. However, it is unacceptable to sell a credit card under false incentives. I want an answer for this and I want everyone to know that the Kohls credit card is a rip off because you will not get what you...

A car came racing in to the lot and pulled in to the first handicap parking spot across from the front door. A gal jumps out and grabs her purse and lunch bag, goes to the front door and pulls the doors apart to let herself in (about 8:50 am)âŠso obviously an employee snags a handicap parking spot while she will be working all day. So disrespectful.
Store opens. I have a return and walk up to where people were lined up for Amazon returns. There is a sign that says checkout and returns. Not positive if that is for Amazon returns only. People behind me asked if it was the line for regular returnsâŠI had no idea. The girl at the Amazon returns desk was working hard like always. The entire time we are waitingâŠanother cashier (tall blonde) was standing at the furthest register talking with another employee. She looked our way quite a few times, but never once asked if anyone had a Kohlâs return or was ready to check out. When we are finally told thatâs not the line for Kohlâs returns, we go to step over to the correct line and a couple of customers get ahead of us. Beverly laughed I wish I could and instead of her just checking me out she sent me back to the checkout to stand in another long line. I worked at khols she could have just checked me out. So then I go back later in the day with another exchange I run into Megan the manager that lady is so nosy she kept asking my daughter over and over again which Kohlâs you work at which Kohlâs do you work at? She wasnât trying to honor any of the discounts employee or otherwise kept asking my daughter who was she purchasing the items for and what store she works at. My daughter didnât want to tell her as it was nun of her business.
