I wanted to come here to give a shout-out to Edward in the Pharmacy for helping me out tonight. I needed a Tdap vaccine asap as I scratched myself yesterday on a nail and was way overdue for this vaccine. I scheduled a appointment at the new Linglestown Road CVS and the pharmacist told me my insurance was denied and I’d have to go elsewhere.. he didn’t offer me to pay the full price which I would have done and told me I needed to go to my PCP or the MinuteClinic on Progress Ave. I rushed over there as they closed at 7:30pm. A woman came out and told me they don’t have a single appointment in this MinuteClinic until next week and that if the Pharmacy can’t get me approved, neither would they and I would have to pay the full price. At this point, I’m frustrated and went to the pharmacy counter and talked with Edward to see if I can just get the shot and pay the 81.99. He tried running my insurance again just to double check, but still no luck. He had me take a seat while waiting for the Pharmacist on duty to administer my vaccine. Edward called me back to the counter to pay for the vaccine and he told me that he actually managed to lower my cost which I think was absolutely amazing, as he was the only one that seemed to want to help me. Absolutely disgusting woman who has an attitude no matter what, always complaining that she's behind and can't get your meds when promised as if you're an inconvenience for asking to get your medication when its due. I wouldn't even go here unless you absolutely have to.
UPDATE: Still the absolute worst pharmacy you could go to. They lie and tell you that your doctor hasn't sent the scripts and that's why they never have the medication on time. Then you speak to your doctor and they give you confirmation that the last 6 months they've sent in your scripts within 20 minutes of receiving yet CVS won't get it ready until DAYS later and will cop attitude if you even call to ask about it. Just straight up zero care for the customer, never filling scripts on time and when you question it you're met with the worst attitudes. There's got to be a better way to report these people, no one cares it's disgusting. Even the doctors tell me that this CVS has the worst reputation with getting medication when needed.
Oh ps: As of July 2024 now you can't even speak to a real person on the phone at all unless you leave a message and they call back, which just straight up won't happen so I just have to wonder when my...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. Took my granddaughter for a Covid test. There were no instructions that a phone number for the person bringing the patient was needed. Waited 15 mins in the allotted spot and finally went inside. The employee in the clinic had an attitude and once back outside the tester came out and was very rude & said she called the number and left a message. It was my daughter’s number since she filled out the form! I told her that & that we had been there the whole time. She called me “honey” with an attitude & told me we would now have to wait until all 5 of the other people who pulled in after me were done!! She said there was a 10 minute window & and since it had been 15 minutes that I had to wait. I explained that I had to pick up my grandson from school & couldn’t wait and she basically said too bad.
