My first and last time going to this place

My friend had an appointment and I decided I should go with her. I knew I would have to wait. We checked in and the manager asked me what I wanted, I told him regular mani and pedi. I got a technician immediately doing my mani and that was great. She did not say a word to me the entire time which it’s okay, I am used to go to a place where all the ladies are super friendly and try to make conversation, and I understand every place is different. She guided me to the pedi area, said “sit down” and left. I waited for almost 30 minutes and nobody checked on me. My friend was almost done so I thought “this is not gonna happen today”. I stood up and immediately the manager came to me, he asked “you can’t wait?” I said no, I can’t. Nobody told me how long was the wait. He had a very passive aggressive attitude and say “I can do it right now” I was like mmm okay, I need to go to the restroom first. While I was there I thought, I don’t like this service why should I stay? I came out and told him nicely, thank you but i can’t stay. Then he raised his voice and said to me: it’s a walk in we can’t have someone available right away. I said: I understand I need to wait, just let me know. Things could’ve been so different if she would’ve said: Ma’am I have an appt coming up, someone will be right with you in 20-30 min. It’s up to me if I wait or not but at least you let me know. Everybody looked at us, I was astonished and my friend embarrassed. I looked at my hand and one nail was bad, they fixed it and I paid. I got a feeling the other nails were bad too and I was right. The nail tech cut my finger with a nail clipper because she wasn’t paying attention and let my finger bleed without saying anything ! Did not acknowledge it at all. Left a huge clump of acrylic under one nail that she seen herself do & did not file it off. Then when she did the “fill” she filed most of the acrylic off the tip of my nail. They were paper thin. They charged me an extra $10 to apply more acrylic to the tip. Never in my life heard of that. I told that nail technician who also had her nails done. Look at yours, that’s how mine should look. Not paper thin & to charge extra???? Also the nail tech was more worried about her phone. Keep looking at it. Touching it. Picking it up. Never again. Would give 0 stars if possible.

I will edit this since I can not reply. I was in about 2 1/2weeks ago. The nail technician sat in the very first booth on the right hand side against the nail Polish wall. This isn’t a fake review . I paid real money at this shop that I will never return too. Being charged two different prices for a fill is unheard of it is applied correctly.

Updated response to salon: Okay but I told your nail tech I would do a soak off and new set. SHE SAID she can do a fill. I even booked my appointment for a soak off and new set but nope. She said she can do a fill. So if you guys will charge extra for going over some else work make that known prior. That’s not the client’s responsibility to find out...

So I wanted to wait a couple days. We had our nails done 4 days ago. We booked two full sets of Acrylics and two pedicures. My red flag should have went off when they took us back for pedicures and then said no we will do your nails first, while the person with me just waited. I explained what I wanted I got dip powder nails not acrylics ok 😒 but the design I wanted this should be better is what she told me. Ok. (FYI it didn't last one feel off last night) they take the person with back for they're pedicure, my nails get done I go back for pedicure, person gets they're pedicure, and they take her out to start her nails, my pedicure gets done, I go out and I think they are doing a full set of acrylics like we asked. So I ask and she says no manicure, and the look of I'm not stopping so the person with just said go ahead cause it was so uncomfortable(FYI the person with me never had their nails done before so she didn't know it wasn't normal what the lady was doing wasn't a full set if acrylics) we had told 3 to 4 different people what we wanted, 2 full sets of acrylics and pedicures, but they still messed up. We left there so disappointed 😞 . For the price we paid, I will never go back. Pedicures were fine. Mine felt very rushed.

While I appreciate the offer I will decline the experience was bad enough we don't even want to try again...
