Did you know Tjmaxx unboxes a set of dishes and slaps a price tag on each piece to sell individually. Yes mam. I picked up a box of cleary marked by the manufacture "set of four cups" . There was no price tag, only a barcode. I then picked up a box of matching dessert plates, marked "set of four" this time with another barcode on the sticker of $5.99. None of the dessert plates were tagged, but individually divided with plastic wedge into Styrofoam to keep the "set" together the manager politely took the box out of my hand and announced TJMaxx "always unboxes sets and sells each cup and/or plate individually...so other words, a cup and a dessert plate to match from two sets (the sets contained four different botanical plants in the plates and the matching cups in another box) would cost $11.98 for one set. To purchase four cups and accidentally be able to find after separating the dessert plates to match cost just short of $50 instead of $5.99 per set/box. Wow....I'm going to do a an internet search for the two sets. The manager followed me back to the dishes, scooped up the other three boxes of "set four plates" again apologized the associates are suppose to break up sets and individually price the MSRP of $5.99 (x4). BTW, Rae Dunn must be hurting because the shelves are so full of that pottery there isn't much room for...
Read moreI attended the Grand Opening on Sunday morning and was appaled at how ALL the managers handled the opening and the trampling of customers by grown men to get to the Rae Dunn. You had ample managers from many stores and it was total chaos. You knew what majority of the customers were there for and you had enough employees that you could have lined the store to keep order AND YOU DIDN'T. It is a shame that women came from all over to get a piece of pottery that has become so popular and it ended so bad. Do you realize #2, 3, and 4 in line got absolutely NOTHING? Now, that's a shame that they stood in line all night to have merchandise taken out of their hand You, management, knew what could potentially happen and you did nothing to prevent it. Shame on you guys. I certainly hope that other grand openings are held in a more...
Read moreI’ve always went in here and have never had any problems with any of the staff or my experiences in general until today, a woman who worked there was following me and my best friend and we just started looking at the clothes on clearance for fun. Did nothing wrong, my friend pulled out a pair of shorts to look at them and put them back in place, the rack was full so the hanger with the shorts on it was stuck a little up. Human mistake right? Wrong, apparently it was so bad that this employee that had been following us had to come up behind me and my best friend and say “yall are messing up the racks and clothes and we just fixed them, stop it now.” Very unprofessional and rude, am I right? Me and my best friend weren’t doing anything to disrupt customers or staff so there was no reason for all of that following...
