Jackson County Farmers Market — Local services in Sylva

The hours online said 0830-1330. We arrived at 1300 and most stands were busy breaking things down instead of selling to us or answering questions. Tried to inquire did a few purchases with no luck. The exceptions were the honey people and the Cider guy. They sold to us and we're great. Went to buy our kiddo lunch and saw a food truck had calamari on the menu which is one of my kiddos favorites. This is one of the most friendly markets I've ever been a part of. Before I was a vendor, I was a customer. The farmers are happy to answer questions about their growing practices, and the producers are all more than willing to share their knowledge with customers and fellow vendors.
