My friend and I were doing some Christmas shopping, walked into this store, and started looking around. I picked up a lotion, smelled it, and decided I was going to purchase it. Then, my friend and I walked over to some candles and were considering purchasing one of those as well until the cashier came over and asked me “did you put the lotion back??” In a very rude tone. I showed her the lotion in my hand and said “no, I was going to buy it” and she replied “oh. I thought you all were leaving” and walked away. Obviously she believed my friend and I were trying to steal her $10 lotion which left us feeling completely insulted and outright targeted. We bought the lotion and left.
