We were searching every local furniture store for a smaller, upholstered reading chair for our library room and eventually found one online on the At Home website that was in stock at our local store. When we got there, we found the floor model and were excited that it was exactly what we had been looking for. It was sturdy, comfy, supportive and nice looking--and amazingly on sale at about half the cost of some of the others we had looked at elsewhere! The only concern was there was no one in the store that could EASILY bring the box down from the shelving. It took two women, with some help from us, to get it down and to the register--shame on management for not having a better method to keep employees safe when moving large items! Thank you at home for having bad customer service. My wife and I were looking for spice jars for her new spice racks she got for Christmas. She found what she wanted which was a four pack for 4.99, which came out to 1.25 each. Only trouble was that there where only 3 packs left and she needed way more. They had the singles from the same company for 1.49 each. So I went up front to ask if we could get the 4 pack price on eaches. We where willing to buy the whole case. I asked for the manager and the guy up front starts explaining what I want on the radio instead of having manager come up front to talk face to face. She said no they would get in trouble.
