Men's District — Local services in Tacoma

I purchased a suit from the Seattle location. They sized me up they put the chalk marks on the pants. They charged me $38.88 For the hemming of the pants and $275. For the suit. The suit was supposed to come with a shirt, socks, handkerchief, Slacks, vest and jacket. They shipped the suit to the Tacoma location where everybody in the wedding party is picking up their suits. I came in there two times on a Thursday to pay for the tailoring. I came in on Saturday to pick up my suit for the wedding. I met with Drew. He gave me the suit. I asked if I can try on a shirt to make sure it fit properly. He let me do so I gave him my ticket picked up my suit. I asked him does the tie come with it he says yes but But you don’t need it if you already have your own black tie. Remind you everybody’s wearing the same Ty all 14 of us. I asked him does it come with socks? He says yes and he gave me socks the day of the wedding at 11 AM. I took a shower and put on my suit. The pants still had choking and they never hemmed it. I called up the store. I spoke to Drew. Drew said come on in and I can take care of it for you right away. I said I haven’t taken a shower. You’re all the way in Tacoma and I need to drive to Gig Harbor and be there within an hour and a half and I live in Lake taps. So I paid money to a local place to get it hemmed right away. I called up right away this morning. Spoke to another gentleman that I met on Thursday. He proceeds to talk over me tells me that the $38 altering. was for the jacket, not for the pants, even though the pants had chalk marks on it when they sized me up. Everybody in the wedding party had Black handkerchiefs except for me cause they never gave me one which was supposed to be included mind you this is for a wedding for everybody to look the same and dress the same. I asked him for a simple refund. I also let him know what was going on. The day I picked up from Drew . then he proceeds to tell me Drew was too busy to hit my pants. Also he told me I didn’t pay to have that done even though I got a receipt saying it was done long story short I got the pants done myself. Yes 13 other people had black handkerchiefs the match the suits except for me. This was a very worst communication customer service I’ve ever had in my entire life buying suits very unprofessional over the phone over a simple refund. They also acknowledged that they didn’t hit the pants and the reasoning was One. They were too busy too. He said he never charged me even though I have a ticket, but he said that was for another altercation for a jacket. Anybody have any further questions about this? I have everything to back it up. I’m not the one that gives out bad reviews for no reason buying a suit for a very special occasion being part of the ceremony and having all this done it was...

I went to their store to get a suit for an upcoming event, I was wanting an all red suit. I am a rather large man, so things are harder to get fitted for me. Ordered 31 days prior to said event, was supposed to get it about 10 days after I ordered everything. It quickly spun into one excuse after another. This is not aimed at the employees at this store, Lorenzo is phenomenal, and he treated me very well. He is extremely knowledgeable and knows his stuff. But this is aimed at their suppliers and bosses. After several attempts, they said they couldn't get the pants, they offered a black suit pants to go with the red jacket, I tried on a black suit... but it wasn't me. It looked good, but it wasn't me. Day before the event, I walked in, and they still didn't have the pants, handed them back their suit jacket (still in its bag), and left.

I'm highly disappointed. Wish I had more time, but I don't. The suit would have been VERY good, but they couldn't deliver.

If you are average size, this place will be perfect for you. But if you are larger in the belly and looking for unique colors... this may not be the place for you if you have any sort of time crunch. Now, I hope I can salvage this event with a suit from Amazon that I purchased...

My Fiancé and I came to the mall to get a suit for a wedding we are attending. We started at Macy's with little luck. Stumbled upon the Men's District and this store is a game changer! So many suites selections and colors in all sizes. They have great deals!!!! For a little over $400 we got the jacket, pants, shirt, tie, socks, shoes and a belt.
