Tahoma Vista Shopping Center — Local services in Tacoma

Went to big lots that day. Their prices are not like they use to which could be why the store was pretty empty , also many of the items in grocery didnt match the shelf tags and / or didn't have a price tag...if i don't like shopping at store then sell items that aren't clearly marked or are in the wrong spot on the shelf (shelf tags doesn't match item displayed) parking was easy and the ladies at the registers were very nice. Also I did find lavender scent mr clean clean freak refills for only $2.99 which is 95¢ cheaper than Walmart (if you can even find it there) and like $7 cheaper than Amazon (also frequently out of stock) so not a total loss. big lots ...you have always had a reputation of offering quality products at a discounted price ..yet I wasn't seeing much value that day and I would like to see you try harder with TRANSPARENCY....price mark your products and have staff try harder stocking product in the CORRECT spot OR REVERSE the shelf tag and mark each...

When i pulled up i got super excited because it has signs saying they were closing so things were 40 prevent off, however while in the store shopping around i notice that most things were only 10% or 5% off which isn't much of a deal so that was a bummer. Also....the security guard was harassing me the entire time i was in the store. Following me and only me (even though there were tons of other people in the store) down ever single isle i went down. He started at me the entire time i was looking at the bras and undies which is just creepy and when i finally decided to say something to him he was unprofessional and just flat out rude. For no reason. I had never been in this store before and i didn't bring bags in with me or a large purse because i know that makes loss prevention automatically assume you are going to steal so i do everything i can to prevent it but this guy from the second i walked into the store didn't stop looking at me. Safe to say i will not...

This is the best Grocery Outlet location I've ever been to! It is pristine clean, well stocked and the staff is really kind. The aisles are extra wide so the Covid protocols are easily followed by staff and customers alike. They also play the best music! It may seem silly, but happy and upbeat dance music makes the world seem a little brighter these days. I got caught dancing one day by someone I thought was one of the employees and he danced, too! I wasn't at all embarrassed and indeed felt like I was right at home in the community. As I was leaving, I saw the sign out front that said "this location proudly owned by..." with caricatures of the owners. The guy who encouraged me to keep dancing was one of the owners! I dunno why, but I felt a wash of warmth over my soul. This place isn't just a grocery store, its an up and coming pillar of the community, we need more people like them and we have to...
