I am currently enrolled in a Medical assistant program there and let me tell you.. ive never had this awful of an experience, ever with a school. At first it was nice and seemed like it was perfect but as time is foing on, I am finding things out that are unfortunate. I havent had the same teacher for longer than three months and i have four more months left. when I try to communicate with anyome like my new teacher or my substitute teacher for the day about an assignment I have questions in general no one is answering me and no one communicates at all. on top of this I was told that my externship was able to do during the weekends and now I’m getting told that it is not and I’m going to have to do full-time Monday through Friday during the day but I tried telling him that I have a full-time job and I can’t do this and they’re saying I don’t have an option !! every time that I go to my class, the teachers end up repeating themselves over something we’ve already heard times and times over again because the new teacher or substitute doesn’t know where we left off… i’m paying over 20 grand for a class, but they can’t even keep a teacher in. The only people I’ve had a good experience with is the financial aid. my financial aid person who helped me his name was cole and he was very communicated straight to the point and answered all my questions but anyone else absolutely sucks. every time I try calling the campus and hit three because I’m an active student who is trying to talk to somebody there the phone just hang up on me and I can’t get in contact with anybody. No one ever answers the phone which I understand sometimes people are busy but every time I try calling and talking about my payments for school no one picks up and it’s super unfortunate. If I could choose again, I would definitely not pick the school. The only reason I am in this class still is because I pretty sure I can’t get my money back, but I’m still trying to figure it out . Might as well get the certification since I’m already...

I never thought I wouldn't appreciate a faculty group. Growing up I hadn't believed quality faculty existed. Some teachers turned me off. 22yrs passed. A 13yr career path, a few bloopers after that, and I was stuck with in laws and praying for an opportunity. Online job searchs put HVAC-R before me. I thank God daily. Amazing, staff, instructors that concern for each student and call to make sure we're good. Call us on our b.s. too. Humor, sincerity, humility and a genuine desire for our successes. All of them are that way. D.o.E. flat out says we pay a lot of money and we deserve to be treated like we do. Awesomeness. And it's not even a lot of money. They make sure we get our finances covered as much as feds help possible. Flex on payment options and tips to bring the cost down too. Seriously, the office people are just as great or better than the instructors. No glum folks in the halls. Just smiles and chatter amongst a bunch of grown people trying a new path for success and the ones helping us get there. Proud to say I study at UEI-TACOMA ! MONTHLY ENROLLMENT AND COURSES THAT DON'T WASTE TIME OFF TOPIC ! We learn what we enroll for and graduate in ten months on average. Medical billing, Dental assistance, Auto shop, HVAC-R, and more. Strange to see scrubs in the hall with greasers but that how we roll at UEI. It's cool here. Check 'em out. It's worth it. For real !!

I am reading this over and I have no regrets and still believe every word I said here. It's an awesome school. My good buddy for 10 yrs is starting in auto shop as soon as he is approved for the grant and loan process. He toured and applied and he was impressed too. Good luck J.M. , you deserve a new path too.

Zero stars I looked into going here while my wife was enrolled and because how she was treated here i decided not to go here now over 6 months later I received two text messages replied stop and I’m not interested got emails. And then back to back to back phone calls Vernon would not take no thank you for an answer! Vernon first texted me then decided he was going call me and when I asked to stop contacting me he got loud and demanding on the phone. Do not support this school and their policies! My wife had gotten Covid from her instructor coming to work with Covid saying there is no excuse to miss class didn’t wear a mask. The school doesn’t even follow Covid guidelines that the cdc put into effect during the mask mandate and we have a newborn my wife missed two days of school she was so sick they contacted her and said if you miss one more day your unenrolled. The government clearly states school or work the 5 day quarantine so regardless you have to miss three in person classes. Not to mention the online classes she did from home was 75 percent of the time wasted by talking about nothing like the teacher was just in a FaceTime with all her friends. This school is just like Everest don’t waste your time or money my guess is they will close and have a class action lawsuit...
