20+ year subway customer. Subway you have to do better. I always order the same 2 sandwiches, chicken bacon ranch and/or meatball sub. Tonight ordered both for delivery. I never order toasted unless I am there because I do not like burnt bread. Sandwiches arrived on time. Both were supposed to have extra sauce. Even called after ordering. I would say both were fairly dry but each person has a different level of what extra is, even when I say "make it wet and when you've put too much on there, out some more on." Not a big deal but what kills me is lately unless your specifically standing there to tell them to microwave the meat, all sandwiches and wraps you do not choose to toast are ICE COLD. My meatball sub obviously came from a bag of meatballs/marinara from a refrigerated area (I can still separate the cheese slices of American like they came from my fridge) my almost $18 chicken bacon ranch with all the extras is even colder. You can tell they took the premeasured cups of meat from their cooler top and just dumped it on the sandwich and moved on. Even if I wanted it heavily toasted there is no way the meats would have warmed up. Your supposed to be sandwich specialists....
Read moreBy far the best customer service I've ever seen at a Subway. They were fully staffed and running like a well oiled machine even during a big lunch rush. They were able to pay attention to every customer's individual needs, keep the line moving, and get orders out quickly. They also kept the dining area immaculate, spot cleaning frequently. I noticed all of this before I had an experience that will forever make me a fan of this subway...
My spouse had just spent the last 16 hours at the hospital and my lack of sleep lead to me forgetting my wallet on our table. One of th employees found it, and turned it in to the owner who then took the time to look us up on facebook and reach out to both of us to make us aware that it had been turned in. Everyone really went above and beyond, and I had a fb message telling me that if I could describe the wallet I was welcome to come pick it up, all before I even had time to notice it was missing. Read moreSo twice now in the last two months we have tried going to this subway and they are either completely out of bread, or down to whole wheat and nothing else. This would be fine if it wasn't always between 6-730 pm. Which is well before closing which would be at 10pm. When we did finally decide to just get a whole wheat sub, and I requested "that's enough turkey" the employee responded with "I'm just doing my job." As a previous GM for a food location, if a cc doesn't want more food, that saves on costs and reorders. So don't give them more food. It's sad that the level of customer service and planning to keep the store operational with bread made is ridiculous. I highly advise the evening/closing crew be retrained, or give actual customer service training and not "I'm just following directions." Especially when my request was for less food. Not to have them go above and beyond for something. I just didn't want 12...
