Marcello is an easy smiling, fast talker who preys on the unsophisticated jewelry buyer. Ordered a custom necklace for my daughter's birthday and graduation. He promised it would be finished in 2 weeks. That was nearly 6 months ago! She graduated May 2016. Months after the piece was supposed to be finished he stood me up at his store after asking me and my daughter to meet him to discuss the custom jewelry progress and wasted 3 hours of my time only to be told by staff he is not around. Have made repeated phone calls to his cellphone and store and left messages with none of my calls returned. I've purchased over $200,000 of gold and diamond jewelry from private dealers and I'm not an amateur buyer like he is clearly used to dealing with. His method is to seem so busy and chaotic in his store that he hopes you don't pay close attention to the incomplete purchase orders and invoices he gives you. He quotes 24 carat gold prices when selling 14 carat gold jewelry! Months after the piece was promised I come by to pick it up and he raised the price of the necklace by over 30% from agreed upon gold and diamond content plus his design fee. I had second thoughts before dealing with him and I should have followed my gut. I've lodged a complaint with VISA to get my deposit back. Complaint to attorney...

Hello I went to buy my wife a birthday gift. I was assured that if my wife didn't like what I bought I can exchange it for what she likes. I come back a couple of days later only for them to tell me that I can't exchange it because they had cut it. When no one told me about that store policy, and was assured that I can exchange it. They lie only to make some money. I wouldn't come back nor do I recommend this place with anyone. Now they are saying that they asked multiple times and that they told me that I couldn't exchange it. That is a straight up lie, because they never told me the store policy of cutting the jewelry. The manager there assured me that if my wife didn't like the chain and bracelet I can exchange it for something they like. They will lie through their teeth just to sell you something. Which is a shame because I was a good customer to them that have bought there many times and never have I heard that policy of there's. Like I said don't go there because they lie and care more for your money than you. If I could give zero or negative stars just because they are a bunch of liers! Never going back....

My experience with this jewelry store has never been an issue but in May 2023 I purchased a necklace and Barbara advised me that I can use American first loan services to purchase the item. I didn’t know that the $4000 necklace I purchase using American first loan service had to be paid off completely within three months of the purchase date. I’ve been making my monthly payments of $500 to American first every month for the first three months and on the fourth month they told me my balance was $8000 due to not paying the total within three months so they added over 200% interest rate to my payoff balance that was $1600. Marcello’s jewelry needs to be careful working with these loan services, I know you trying to make money, but don’t put your customers in a predicament like this if you know how that loan service agency is, it’s just not right.
