I shopped at this store today. I selected a shirt which did not have a tag. As a prudent shopper, I flagged down the manager (her name was Tiffany) and asked how much the shirt was and if i wanted to buy the shirt I wanted to avoid any issues at the register since it did not have tag. She alerted me it was $12.99 and gave me another shirt and asked them to ring up the shirt under that shirt tag. When I arrived at the register, Yara (âCoordinatorâ was on her name tag) rudely and quite arrogantly alerted me the shirt was $24.99. I politely told her these were instructions pursuant to the manager whose name was Tiffany. And she left the register to find an exact replica of the shirt. As she was walking away, I told her Tiffany had already done this. She ignored me. She was gone for quite sometime (holding up the line behind me 6 deep) which is why I asked for the price prior to checking out. She came back with some random shirt and said the price was $19.99. I asked how a shirt could change prices 3xs when it did not have a tag. Needless to say I would very careful if an item is not tagged at this store because the clerk at the register will usurp the managerâs price. In addition donât expect customer friendly service by some of the...

I purchased clothes from the store two weeks ago and returned to exchange a pair of $20 pants with the tag still attached and the receipt in hand. The staff informed me that they could not find the item on the receipt and claimed it appeared to have been already returned. I assured them that I had not returned the pants, as I still had them. The store manager then suggested that I must have never been charged for the pants since they were not on the receipt. I insisted that I was charged and requested that she check my TJ Maxx credit card for the transaction, noting my loyalty as a TJ Maxx rewards member for over 10 years. She informed me that they do not have the capability to look up individual items. She offered me in-store credit, but I requested a refund to my TJ Maxx credit card instead.
I am extremely frustrated with this situation, as it seems to be an error on the company's partâeither due to an incorrect tag on the item or a mistake during the original checkout process. As a long-time customer, it is disheartening to witness the lengths the company will go to over a $20 item. Regrettably, I will not be returning to...

Recap: lowered my review.Went today and the women at the dressing room kept treating me like i was going to steal something. She got annoyed that I didnt give her the number right away when putting my arm full of clothes in my cart and she was so set with counting the Peices i had it came off as controlling and rude.Causing problems for no reason.Came off as kind of lazy that she obsessed over me putting my clothes on that rack but never stepped one foot away from the counter to be helpful. Not very friendly.Definate not a customer friendly system.when most customers say they have "4 peices" they do. Then as i was cashing out the cashier thought i was stealing what was my own sweatshirt....this isn't a poor area. Most people are not walking in with the intention to steal....maube you witnessed someone stealing something...i really dont know but you cant treat your customers as criminals...I did nothing wrong.I choose to go to your store because i got a new job and thought this was the best place to shop.....but customer service needs some help. And i work retail i can say...
