Akways nice & terrible. A bit hard to find help, but when you do it pretty good. They are nice to you, but I wish it was more awesomer like Publix is like when you find someone & you don't need to ask to be guided over every time not just some of the time.
Telling me the # with so many #'s & jam packed together almost as if covering each other or like Chinese to me, cuz new to art & not frequent Michael's as much, till now not more just when I need an art supply. Just allot of stuff idk & learming as I go along.
It seems harder then the Dewey decimal system to me & I forget right away, scatter brain, etc type thinking so I need guided expertise choice Passionate talk of differences, effects, etc of what I need & brushes, materials, decor, accentuations, and accesssories.
Not a sales pressure, just tell me all I need to get started for sure then I gave a list I can buy when etc coupons 1 a month or two, etc ss a poor, not want to spend allot on 1 item as I am allot on the total by all the supplies i have thus far on this journey. Like $200+ counting.
Hopefully i have a couple yrs use not have ro spend on stuff for a while. Well actuly on oil paints, the thinner, and canvases 3-6 months or so from now when I run out of the canvases I got right now, plus continue on paper & other art streams. So hopefully gets all used up & can live yrs after doing art. Love Michael's for I can get a discount. I go to Walmart for other stuff if I can't afford Michael's am needed, etc. I just missed 2 items in 1 coupon online buy pik u or delivery. I would have free pickup.
I wish it was easier & not tell ypu to call see if avaiable in store, it should have a smart system that just tells you. I hope I get the marker I wanted, but I still need the liquid clear, the gel, the medium, the spray to mist the back of canvas, so gold marker lasted,
I had to be lucky to have found right gal on YouTube 4 or so old video that had the right info so I now still need gels & ofc Bob Ross always with the liquid clear, maybe a medium also, like lady said to control drying time as in slow & learning 1st time touching a canvas & all this & trying to paint copy Bob Ross. I could not see my order near the cash registers so I went to the back of the store towards the frame where there were two employees minding their own business having a conversation amongst each other. They were visibly annoyed at my interruption asking where I could pick up my order. I went back to the front of the store, waited my turn only to see that the poster board was damaged. The cashier told me she couldn’t leave the front of the store so I could go towards the back and look for my own poster board. I couldn’t find it, so I asked the two employees at the back of the store again and they again gave me an annoyed look telling me to go look in the “kids section”. I left.
