My wife and I shopped Rooms to go back in November 2024. Of the many items we purchased, we bought a mattress. It was too firm. Didn't like it. Returned it having to buy a more expensive mattress. We purchased the softest Temperpedic mattress the offered. Upon receiving it, it was stiff. Needed to be broken in. After a couple of months no luck. We went back to Rooms to go and laid on the same mattress. Night and day different. Spoke to the salesman and he said it's still not broken in. Suggested putting it on the floor and walking on it. So we did, for a week. Also put the dinning room table upsidedown with a couple of large coolers full of water for a couple of days. No luck. It's been 9 months now and it's still stiff. I spoke to RTG customer service but they couldn't help. I asked for a manager (Jasmine) and she was absolutely no help. The mattress was clearly packaged wrong by the manufacturer, but because the tag had the right name, my wife and I are clearly wrong about the mattress. We love it on the show room and hate it in our house. It's not the same mattress. We've been back and forth over the first few months and the store mattress was great. Ours is hard.
