Overall a really fantastic experience. I just really have to take most of my review to rave about my nail tech that did my full gel set on my hands. Derek gave me the best experience I've ever had. I work on the computer all day so when I ask most techs for short nails they can't believe I want them as short as a do and I typically have to ask them to go shorter after clipping my tips, but Derek listened! When I showed him picture references he gave me the exact shape and length I wanted and when the matte coating he put on top wasn't to his satisfaction I didn't even have to point it out before he was fixing it for me! I feel like most places would let it go unless you specifically asked for it to be fixed so I was really pleased to see that he wasn't willing to let me walk out of the salon with less than perfection. I'm excited for the next trip I make for my fill. Mimi did my pedicure and she was so friendly and poor thing had little to work with since my toenails are so short but she was great at communicating with me what I wanted and explaining all of the options offered. I will say it gets pricey with pedicures (especially with the add ons that I felt could have been a little more affordable especially if youre getting more than one add on) but you are told up front about the pricing and add ons you recieve so I fully understood what I was going to be paying for before I chose to get it. I got the deluxe pedicure which was 45 I believe and then added on gel polish which was 15 dollars extra plus 5 dollars extra for matte polish and 15 dollars for acrylic on both of my big toe nails. So all in all, my pedicure was 80, but mimi made it last and did a scrub, hot towels, pumice stone, hot stones, and the list goes on. I was easily in the chair for an hour, and most places rush you so I really felt like she took the time to make sure everything was to my liking. Cannot wait to come back and felt like even though yes I did spend a good amount of money I felt like I received fantastic service in return and will always gladly pay to make sure I'm getting quality. I have been going to lily nails since I moved to the area 6 years ago. The quality (to me) has gone down quite a bit in the past year or so. I came in today for a dip manicure and regulst pedicure. One thing I will say is they are always able to get you in with a minimal wait which is nice. The guy doing my nails was new to the salon as I had not seen him before. Did a good job on my toes but my issues came with the dip. 1st, all my nails were different lengths. I had to ask him to file them down to make them all equal. Then, on my right thumb there was a huge crater in the dip polish that was noticeable to the eye and also you could feel it. He asked me to wash my hands and I asked if he was going to fix my nail first. Mimi came over and said it would be fixed with acetone at the end. I said ok, washed my hands, and came back. As he's polishing and wiping its VERY clear that acetone isn't going to fix the problem, as it's the actual dip on my nail that is uneven. I asked again for him to fix it which he did. By filing it down and reapplying dip. A good portion of my nails are actually missing the dip on the side (see pictures attached) and it just feels like sloppy work. The pictures they post on social media are beautiful, but it feels like if you aren't getting a big glamorous full set you're rushed in and out with no consideration of quality. Lily's nails is spectacular! You bring them a picture of what style you would like and they do it!! Their place of business is clean and well kept you don't have that heavy smell of acrylic like some places, the owners and nail tecs are friendly it's a very relaxing atmosphere..V designed my nails yesterday I brought in a picture of a design I wanted and she did a fantastic job!! She listened to everything I wanted and she did it!! She didn't rush and the results spoke for themselves!! Yesterday was the second time that I went there, and I will be going there from now on!! Finding a good nail salon is no easy task!! Finding one that does all the latest styles and designs is nearly impossible! LILYS NAILS DOES IT ALL!! as for price they can be on the high end depending on what design you like. But they are worth every dime!!
