OK if anyone is going through Tawas and you think you would like to buy something from Huron Sports, like a water tube. DON'T. The service was unbelievable, buyer beware! I bought a floating tube, first one had a leak right in the handle, they gave us such a hard time, called within 24 hours of purchase,brought it back within a few days. Cashier gave us a hard time, then the manager did exchange it. Blew the new one up last night in our garage, leaking! Right in the middle of the store The testosterone, steroid injecting manager was so rude. Said I was ripping him off, cheating him and that it was "Crap" I was in his store again. No customer service, manager claims he blew up our first one and sold it to someone else within 48 hours of the exchange and that he got ripped off by me. Read moreBike rental- What started out as a great experience ended up leaving us feeling a bit confused. The store did a great job having a bike available for my husband per my reservation. We didn’t have to reserve it with a credit card which was nice. Rates were $10/hour, $20/4 hours. We knew we would need it more than an hour so we were figuring on paying $20. We were told if we didn’t have it back within the 4 hour time limit, we would get charged extra, on top of the $20. This makes perfect senses. We ended up returning it after 3 hours, expecting to be charged the $20. The attendant charged my husband $30 for 3 hours. When questioned why it was not $20 for the 4 hours she said we only used it for 3 and it was $10/hour. This makes no sense whatsoever. She said she didn’t make the rules, the boss did. Read moreI called on Monday to schedule a time to get my bike crank replaced. The women I talked with asked what day I would like to come in, we agreed on Friday. I was excited to get a scheduled time so I could continue to ride. She promised to call the mechanic and have him come in on Friday at noon and I told her I would be there around 1pm. I drove 40 min to the shop on Friday (today) just after 2pm and they told me the mechanic was not there that he had come in a 10am and left already. They said I could leave my bike but that there were 4 other bikes ahead of me for service.
