The previous reviews are exaggerated to say the least. Good grief, give the new owner a break! We stayed in the studio, which is located in the middle of the resort. It was fantastic! The view of Lake Huron looking out our sliding glass door was the best! Our room was amazingly clean. The bed and futon were comfortable. Loved the breeze through the windows. But, listen up people... some of us Michiganders need climate control! I have a serious medical condition and humidity and heat make me very sick. Whether a hotel or cabin has A/C is a necessary factor in our choice to stay. And NO PETS! Who wants to sleep in a bed that someones dog was sleeping in? Who knows where those paws have been or what's hiding in that fur? Lol! (I'm sure I now have a ton of dog owners upset). But ya know sometimes dogs are not a good match for people with serious breathing issues. The beach was beautiful, the outdoor furniture was clean & sturdy (We loved the wooden love seat swing). ||Yes there was a hammer & a saw going during the day & people painting - YES, that's what it takes to improve & update property! The workers were friendly and always staying away from us as much as they could & ended the work early in the day, never at night. All we could hear at night was the lapping of the waves - so peaceful.|| We are grandparents too - 9 balls of energy to be exact! So age has nothing to do with staying here or leaving a bad review - sometimes ya gotta read between the lines when it comes to bad reviews. ||Paradise Beach - keep on updating & improving and cleaning. I'd rather not check in until 5:00 and have a clean room. Just don't change for people asking for an early check in, that will keep grump & grumpy at bay. ||I say to anyone reading this, "I would not hesitate to spend a vacation here". ||And to the negative reviews, come on people - this is this mans investment and he is only trying to create a clean, enjoyable, safe resort for all of us to enjoy. Give him a break, he's just getting started! You're killing a family's dream and your words are mean and hateful. ||I did not find one thing to complain about! Not one!||But one suggestion, maybe supply your guests with a role of toilet paper per day that's booked, 5 days...5 rolls :)||I wish you a wonderful fall/winter season and a happy & prosperous 2020! ||Looking forward to our next stay at the...

Our honeymoon at Paradise Beach Resort was absolutely perfect, thanks to Lou and his wife who run this wonderful locally owned business. Lou went above and beyond to make our stay special—he offered us a fantastic price, made sure our room was spotless, and ensured we had access to the bike and boat rentals.

When we arrived, he even surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, a vase filled with beach sand and fairy lights, and a heartfelt congratulations card. It was such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly celebrated. Lou was also incredibly kind and accommodating with our service dog, which meant so much to us.

If you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and memorable place to stay, skip the big chains and support this gem of a locally owned resort. Lou and his wife will make sure your experience is just as...

The name sounds like you’ll be in “paradise”. Nope.||The “lakeside cottage” description for cottage #1 puts us sleeping close to Hey. 23, with all of the accompanying road noise. There are 2 cottages for the same price that are actually lakeside so question everything! There was a teenager available to check us in who knew nothing...and there were no towels provided due to ineptness and no manager on site, despite phone calls and notes left. We ended up using car wash towels from the trunk of our car. The office was open but no one was there. Our two bedroom unit had a kitchen but not even a can opener or saucepan and paper dishes and two odd glasses. For $135 per night we could have done way better. Also the hot water ran out mid shower in the “plastic” shower unit. Pathetic place. Drive right by and...

We were here for a weekend in October for my brother's wedding which was held right here on the beach. It was such a beautiful setting for a wedding. The cabin we stayed in was cozy and cute. It had two bedrooms and full bath with a well appointed kitchenette. October gets a little chilly for beach activities but the fall colors are on full display. The beach does have a fire pit ringed with chairs and is the perfect way to spend a weekend evening in fall. Nearby Tawas has an awesome little downtown area which I recommend exploring. I recommend checking out the Ben Franklin store, there aren't many left. Also the Lazy Toaster has amazing food.

been coming here for the past 6 years, It's. A relaxing place for family or couples, Beautiful sun rise starts at 530am The local grocery store is up the road, and the Tawas park and stores are a little further up the road, lots of shopping stores, and restaurants on this strip) Great bon fires with amazing view of the stars at night Very friendly staff Lou and Lindsey, always a phone call away and always there to help with whatever is needed.
