I first bought my wedding set in Tulsa OK about 8 years ago. It came with free cleaning, work and sizing for life. I actually lived in MO at the time, and about an hour and a half from the closet stores. I always had excellent customer service. They even mailed my ring to me after having some work done because I lived to far away. Fast forward to about a year ago. I moved to OH and the closet Helzberg is this one. I accidently bent the head of my ring when I got it caught in a door. I had to get the head completely re-done and my diamond reset. Because of covid, this store was closed and I dropped it off with another store close by. When I got it back, the prongs all set up much higher and caught on everything. One of the prongs broke in the first week. When I took it back to get it fixed, Karen didn't even look at it and started explaining to me that the prongs are just going to be higher. I told her they were never that high and asked to get all of the prongs taken down because they stood up to high. She said sure they could fix the one and trim down the other ones. They had my ring for 2 months. I went to go pick it up and they only fixed the one prongs and it was all messed up. Karen didn't even look at it and started to tell me that it's going to look different when they only fix one prong. I told her I specifically asked to get all of them fixed. There were 4 employees there. Not one time did any one apologize to me. Or even ask to look at it. I said it's messed up. Karen then offered to send it back again. I said it's been 2 months already and she said well do you think you want to try it and see how it works out for you? I said it's crooked and still not even an apology. I guess I should have read the reviews on here first. đ I'm so disappointed with the customer service. They would never sell a ring looking like this in their store. I can't believe how rude she was, and how she acted like she knew it all! I will drive 3 hours to another store to get it fixed. Hopefully it'll be a better jeweler and better customer service. Jillâs personality, smile, and extensive knowledge reassured us that we had made the right choice in selecting Helzberg Diamonds as our new jewelers. Jill took her time providing us with valuable information as we reviewed multiple diamonds and wedding bands that my fiancĂ©e found favorable. I ultimately purchased a beautiful ring without any hiccups, and I also couldn't resist buying an "I Am Loved" Bear!
In 2024, we returned to have my fiancĂ©eâs ring cleaned and inspected, which is part of our warranty plan. Although Jilly from MI was off that day, we were once again welcomed by the fantastic team, including Ashley, Lilly, and Tam-E. We were assisted by the wonderful, funny, and knowledgeable Ashley.
Before we knew it, we were all laughing about life and checking out wedding rings for myselfâthe indecisive one in the relationship. After reviewing a range of diamonds, Ashley suggested one I had no prior knowledge of, and it turned out to be absolutely gorgeous! With Ashleyâs assistance, I finally decided to customize my ring, and yes, this is the engagement ring my fiancĂ©e purchased for me.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Taylor, MI location of Helzberg Diamonds. The staff is knowledgeable, eager to help each other find exactly what you're looking for, down-to-earth, honest, not pushy, and the prices are reasonable.

   Read moreThe customer service here is terrible. The attitude that you are given by the employees is very condescending and rude. I was gifted a ring from Helzberg which needed to be resized. Be careful asking them to resize a ring for you because they will tell you that their mandrel in store is different than the mandrel that the jeweler uses so who knows what size ring you will get. The first time they sized my ring it was gone for a few weeks and came back unsized. They then said they will rush it and I would get it the following Friday but I got a call on Friday and it wasn't even touched by the jeweler. Once I finally got it back I told them it was still too big but I was frustrated so I asked for a guard. A week later I notice a side stone fell out so I went back. I asked the woman to check the size on the mandrel and the shape wasn't even even round it looked almost oval shaped and she said I cannot size this because it's not accurate. She said it was my fault for it being that shape but I can guarantee it was their jeweler who really does a poor job. The ring was barely back in my possession for that kind of damage to be done to a ring. I guess I just didn't inspect the ring close enough when I picked it up because I was so frustrated. Fast forward a few weeks to yesterday when I picked up the ring. They finally got the size right and replaced the stone! I look at my ring this morning less than 24 hours later and a different stone has fallen out. I am so beyond frustrated and I do not want to keep dealing with them, especially this store. I have barely had my ring in my possession because it takes them weeks to have a jeweler even think about fixing a ring. If you need to go to Helzberg for any reason, go to a different store.
