I had an awful experience with Danielle in photography at southland center. I had an appointment at 11 am and I called at 10:30 and left a voice message letting them know that I was running late and the gps said that I would be there by 11:14. Danielle called us at 11:04 am and said that if I’m going to be a half hour late then we would have to reschedule. I said ok. We speed down the freeway and my husband drops me off at the front and I just grabbed my 6 month old out of the car seat and ran through the mall like a lunatic. I get to the photographer and she asked me how many outfits do I have. I told her 4 but I don’t think that we could make it through 4. And then she got rude and started shaking her head like I offended her and said “we can’t accommodate 4 outfits.” Like she didn’t hear what I just said. And then she immediately started typing in the keyboard saying that she’s going to reschedule me. I told her to forget about it and I’m not going to force her to take my baby’s photo. Someone called me the night before to confirm the amount of people and the amount of outfit changes and they said it would be fine and I said that it’s fine if we don’t use all of the outfits. And then I have Danielle trying to reschedule me when the place was empty and it looked like I was her first photo of the day. I always had a wonderful experience at Fairlane and I didn’t even have an appointment with them and people are always late especially when they have babies. I have been late to these shoots before and was never treated that way and on top of it I was apologetic and willing to not use all of the outfits that I had planned. We have gone to store for 13 years to get pictures taken here , but this year new photagrapher was horrible, he didnt position us properly in pictures, made comment about upset customer waiting for us to be done cause he was behind taking pictures of previous customers. We had a clothing change scheduled, they didnt want to stand by are scheduled appointment, eventually they did, waisted time talking about it put him further behind. So in turn photagrapher didnt take good pictures. He rushed through every pose without positioning us properly , head cut off at top of picture,we were to far appart, didnt zoom in or out to get background in pictures properly, I could go on and on with complaints about the pictures he took . Had to settle on 2 pictures so we could get Christmas cards done, and 1 other photo was good. Only guy taking pictures on Sunday, I wont say his name, but you can figure it t out. On top of it wasnt told we had to buy 48 cards to receive discount on coupon I gave them, kind of my fault didnt read fine print on coupon, should have been told anyway, was charged 3 times amount of price on coupon, took a hour to get price adjusted cause lady at counter didnt know how to adjust the price, had to call someone for help. Still didnt get the price adjusted properly, was told to call main office tommorrow to talk with someone nothing she could do. Sounds like a great experience with unqualified people at JC Penneys Portrait Studio. Read moreAfter waiting for the employees to decide what person was going to stop looking at their phones and talking to help us, a older women finally decided she would help after they all tried to pawn it off on each other.
She started asking for phone numbers for reward points (which I do not have). She then started to ask if I wanted a credit card, at which point I told her no, for the first time.
She then proceeded to try to get me to sign up for the credit card again after I told her I just want to pay. She tried to "infrom" me that I could just get the 35% off then cancel it after 24 hours.
I informed her that this negatively impacts your credit score as it is a hard inquiry, she decided she wantes to argue with me. Claiming how she had 4 hard inquires when buying a car and still has over a 800 credit score. I let her know that she was telling people misinformation that could be harmful to people and that I already told her no.
As I was walking away she stated she was "done with this place" as a "heavier set" man (your employee) loudly spoke "well if he was intelligent enough..."
