Edited: Sal was very kind and helpful, gave me a full refund and offered me a new service. Very professional and apologetic. I appreciate his help and I will consider perhaps trying a lash lift again. Thank you, Sal.
I went in for a Brazilian wax and lash lift and tint. This would have been a one star if I wasn't somewhat satisfied with my lashes. They're mostly cute and are a bit more prominent which is mostly what I was looking for. I was happy with them in the salon, but upon further inspection at home, they're not lifted evenly? The middle of one eye sits up higher than the other. I know this isn't the length of my lashes because when I push up the low side or push down the high side, they look more even. They don't look much darker to me either, but I can get past that as they were pretty dark to start with and that may just be me. While getting them done, I believe when she was wiping off the perm solution, she wiped it into my eye and I couldn't stop trying to blink. She did give me a fan for the fumes which helped in the beginning when the solution was not in my eye. As for the wax, I know it's a painful spot to be waxed, but this was insane. I have had bikini waxing done and I know this was my first Brazilian, but something felt wrong. She took too much off the top (I asked for a triangle and she waxed halfway down my mons pubis UNEVENLY (left side is way higher than the right after I asked her not to pull more off the right and she told me that she was just making it even)). By the time we got to the labia I was crying on the table (I am not a Crier and am covered in 50+ Tattoos), she missed pulling the strip a few times and I can't help but feel if the position of the table were in a better spot she may have had more proper leverage or ability to angle the pull. Once we had finished the left half and she saw I was crying, she showed me in the mirror that my skin was VERY red and kept asking if I wanted to stop. I'm not gonna stop half waxed, I'm this far. I sucked it up for the other side, asking her to just make it even on both sides. Upon inspection at home, it is SO uneven, there's patches still there, and I'll have to take the tweezers to myself to try and attain some sort of consistency as I don't have wax at home. She wasn't mean or anything but was not very personable and I felt like I was a bit of a burden to her during most of the visit aside from her comforting me when I apologized for crying. She did not suggest any aftercare for either service so I asked how to take care of my lashes as I've read you're not supposed to get them wet and she said 'nah it's fine you just don't need to wear mascara'. She also did not clean either area before the service and left bits of wax on me in my remaining hair and on my skin where she would set the used wax strips. I feel bad leaving this review because I didn't leave with like an allergic reaction or anything terribly long lasting, but I paid for a service I don't feel I received properly for a vacation next week and I wanted to be honest for anyone else looking to get specifically the Brazilian. Protect your bits. I will not be back...
Read moreI can't be unfair and give it one star. But I can't give it more than two because every time I have been here the "employees" (they may be self employed and rent a chair) chat while people wait. I figure they would get more customers done if they kept it short with more chat between customers. I have been waiting for an hour and 20 minutes for a hair cut. They did let me know it will be a while while they did 2 people. Ok, I will wait. After they take another walk in that arrived moments before and i have been there for more than an hour, they have the nerve to tell me they have appointments (walk in had no appointment. Thats why i said WALK-IN). Well maybe you should tell me that instead of asking if I'll wait. Yup. Last time I come here. Their sign-in system is useless since they don't really care about it. I'm not saying they don't do a good job if they strive to do it. I am just saying their customer service is the same as their home country. Maybe if I smelled like curry they would have drooled over having me as a customer. Good day I say to you good sir (madam or whatever ur preferred pronouns are)... good day. I'm not mad. Just want to avoid coming to this place ever again so I am making a Google maps note. đ
Saturday August 27th,2022. 16:23. That's 4:23pm for non military time ppl.
Update: Person reviewing after me about the eyebrows: I was there when it happened. I am glad I am not the only one having a bad experience today. I don't feel like a "Karen" now.
Another update for the owner reply: How do you explain then that while waiting there were three walk-ins that were taken ahead of me? Oh...weird. they spike the stylist language so they had priority? So don't tell me about racist comments when my experience itself can be called racist. If yall want to update your answer, fine. Either the case, last time I visit that place, last time my wife will visit that place and also I will convince those friends who visit that place not to. There are so many other places out there that are happy to have me as a client. Y'all are not the best in anything. Just...
Read moreDO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!!!!! I thought I would get my eyebrows done for my vaca so I didn't have to worry about them and I wish I would have trusted my gut! The woman working the afternoon shift on 7-3-23 was EXTREMELY RUDE. I told her this was my first time getting my brows done and that I was nervous. She did not try to explain anything to me. She told me that I needed a brow tint and she piled the tint on my eyebrows/forehead and when I looked in the mirror I was mortified! she made them HUGE AND BLACK ( I have blonde hair and I told her I did not want them that dark). she acted like it was a huge deal trying to fix them because the whole time I was there she was talking to her friend in another language and then while she was messing up my eyebrows, she was giving her friend a free thread and wax?! Right in front of me?!?! I left crying and she didn't even say anything!!!!!! and to top it all off, my skin is BURNT from the tint and now my skin on my forehead is tomato red!! JUST WANT I WANTED FOR MY VACA! I can not even put anything on my face because it hurts so bad! all she did was dye my eyebrows a color way too dark for $30! I could have dye my own eyebrows for $3 with ColorSilk and NOT burnt my face!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THIS PLACE AND THE OBVIOUS LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF TINTING EYEBROWS!!!!! the woman who did this to me should NOT be allowed to work on people's...
