We went looking for something specific. No one offered to help us, and we wandered all over the store looking for what we needed. Then ready to check out, but ended up standing in a long line. 2 registers were open, but one was tied up with some sort of problem that lasted at least 10 minutes, and the remaining cashier moved at snail speed. I have worked retail and trained cashiers, and the speed at both registers could have been improved in several ways. Went to harbor freight. Always have good sales. Have to watch some items. They are marked cheap for a reason. But all in all we enjoy shopping here. They have some pretty good tools and other equipment my husband always goes there for. This shopping center could use a make over. It's just old. I remember when Safeway grocery store was in this place. Many many moons ago.🤪 they had an chines restaurant, a sporting goods store, an arcade in there. And the buildings have never changed. The Jack in the Box at this location will allow you to order and pay online even though they are not even open. We experienced this snafu on a Sunday morning recently when we ordered a couple of breakfast sandwiches to pickup on our way to Giddings. The internet indicated they opened at 6am but when we arrived at 7:30am to get out order the doors were locked and nobody answered the phone. We saw 2 employees sitting inside. Very frustrating! They finally opened the door to tell us they don't open...
