Olmsted Village — Local services in Taylortown

Last night we went to Olmstead Village and ate at the pizza café. Olmstead Village has a gas station, NY Deli, Pizza Café, a beauty parlor, a florist, a seafood restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and ice cream place, a donut place and some other businesses like a travel agent, a bank and more. It is a great place to go to support small local business. I live in another small town in Texas and still I love to support small local business wherever I go. I've shopped at Southern Angel Donuts and dined at Maria's. Highly recommend them, but have not found any other shopping there to be recommended to me nor have I any curiosity about them. Shopping areas not well maintained and there are so many complaints from shop owners about maintenance and area appearance. However Pinecroft is well done. Had lunch at the Asian fusion inside the Olmsted village. Ordered the tofu soup. And the general chicken. The soup had fried tofu in it and was a little hard to chew so I asked the waiter to bring us the boiled tofu instead. They had no problem with that. The general chicken was a big helping and tasted great. Each came with a scoop of white rice. Even had a Sapporo beer to complete...
