Golden China — Restaurant in Taylortown

I can’t get enough of their shrimp & broccoli combo. I’m a huge shrimp fanatic & their shrimp are big & juicy! The broccoli isn’t too soft or hard, perfection. I swear it’s the only thing I order when I go (once in awhile I’ll add chicken & OMG so good), I’ve had shrimp & broccoli at other Chinese restaurants in the area & none taste this good!

Update after reading some others reviews: if you order anything with sauce, you can ask for light sauce (because I’ve seen some ppl complain about how greasy some of their food is). Also, last time I went in some of the boxes etc have been moved for people to start being able to dine in, no buffet yet, I feel that won’t be coming back soon, but also there are only 2 ppl who work here (husband/wife) & they are...

To be honest, I don't really know if I had came at the wrong time, but I was very disappointed coming here. First, I had came around like 12ish, so I was expecting for the Food on the Buffet Line to be at least decent looking, but it wasn't, it was just dry food, but I'm guessing that probably didn't have any customers since they opened at like 11, but still, it's a Buffet Line, and it's suppose to be fresh. I've lived in Pinehurst for over 9 years. In the past this place was actually pretty great! The last 2 times I've had to drain almost a cup of pure sodium liquid from my lo mein!!! GROSS- and they didn't even rinse the vegetables. It was so grainy with sand and dirt! Wth!! Steer away! Find another place- this is NOT what it used to be.
