I came across this Gem from an advertisement on IG over a year ago. Don't ask me why I waited until now to write a review. However, better late than never. Shema, the owner, has Amazing energy. She's a warm, welcoming, nurturing spirit that wants to ensure that Everyone is satisfied. Whether it's offering a beverage or running to grab a bite and asking for your order, she's truly in tune with her customers. Soooooo fast forward to a few weekends ago where the Salon was offering $50 hourly massages. YUP!!! By the infamous Shaleek, licensed massage therapist. Big difference from a Masseuse. He targets areas of stress on the body to relieve tension, suggests stretching techniques to maintain agility and provides additional services such as contouring and cupping while your choice of music and aromatherapy fills the air. I can Truly attest to his professionalism and will schedule my next session very soon. In addition to the Spa services, Shema is a dedicated hair specialist. Different from just a Stylist. She is focused on hair care ... from the products she uses to the handling of your Type of hair. To add the icing on the cake, her desire to want everyone to WIN has not gone unnoticed. She has Pop-up events allowing small businesse owners the opportunity to showcase their products at her salon. S Styles was a great experience for me. The personal service and heart felt compassionate for her craft was an answered prayer. I wanted to go somewhere without the gossiping shop atmosphere and I was delighted with the warm, wonderful, clean and peaceful atmosphere. Every request of mine was fulfilled,from extra towels to added on treatments. It was truly time well spent as she also educated me on my new going for shock factor look. After having locs for nearly 25 years to a silk press...She handled my multiple sensitivities well, I was actually shocked about some of them and we laughed together about them and enjoyed a really good time together. It was one of the best hair care experiences of my life 💗. She was created for this and loves her profession. Some people get into it for the money and some for the love of it. That's Shina....SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES HAIR AND YOU AS HER CLIENT FROM THE DOOR AND I FELT IT IN MY VERY FIRST APPOINTMENT!! I had so many questions about everything and she answered every one of them. So let the pictures speak for themselves before and after...she even recommended this brush to care for my hair along with hair care products to date my hair looks exactly the same. It started to rain when I left she taught me how to wrap it up and with the flexirods she recommended I have been able to...

Buyers of Groupon… BE AWARE!!! Paid for full highlights and received only partial highlights. When I asked Shema to fix and add highlights to missing areas… she told me there is additional charge for those areas. Full highlights ALWAYS include the whole head. It’s not A La carte 🙄 You literally get what you pay for at this salon!!!

She is very inexperienced with certain types of hair and also doesn’t know how to blow dry (burns the scalp). It’s sad the owner thinks I was trying to get my highlights for free when ALL I actually asked for was what I paid for! Money is not an issue for me! It’s the principle that matters!!! My photos CLEARLY show NO highlights on front part of head (crown).

Businesses…(small or large)should provide advertised services instead of penny pinching and asking for additional $ for included services.
