I was initially happy/excited to see Common Hype participate in Beast Cancer awesomeness so naturally i was happy to contribute to the cuase by purchasing some Common Hype goods, purchased 1 pair of shorts and 1 hat.
However, this being my first purchase it cost me over $100+ usd for 1 hat and 1 pair of shorts.
I have to say the quality was poor and and overall all design was lackluster at best, i probably wont wear these, ill donate them to someone who may get casual use out of them. I think this was a bit if a cash grab, i tried looking on the site to see how much exactly gets donated from each sale but it just says " a portion of the proceeds" which is a bit misleading.
Again my issue is with the quality, for the price id say they are worth maybe $45 for both at best.
I just purchased 2 items from the Kaws/Northface collab and just over $100 more the quality was 10x that if Common hype.
Theyre quality is mediocre at best, to be honest i was initially happy to support the CH team but from what i received both in goods and customer service it seems to me that theyre just exploiting what works at the moment, this isnt a brand i see being here in 5 yrs. They strike me as the next Anti Social, Social club.
This is just another group of young guys who want so badly to be entrepreneurs but see their customers as a quick cash out.
These "Brands" need to invest more time, effort and energy into good quality goods that customers and supporters are happy to own and enjoy wearing. Slapping a logo on anything these days makes most of these guys entrepreneurs and street wear brands.
Anyway, i expected more and got much less for my money. I hope at the very least they donated atleast 25% of the proceeds so it doesn't seem like a complete...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had at your Arrowhead Town Center location in Peoria, Arizona today. I visited the store intending to purchase the Jordan 12 “Flu Game” sneakers, despite the significant markup of $375 compared to their usual retail price of $210. However, I was extremely disappointed with how the transaction unfolded.
When I was presented with the shoes, I noticed that the box was completely destroyed. As you know, for sneaker enthusiasts, the box is an essential part of the purchase, especially when dealing with a prestigious brand like Jordan. When I asked for a replacement box, I was told, “Tough luck. This is what you get.” The staff stated that this was how they received it from wherever they sourced it and refused to exchange the box.
I then asked if a discount could be applied, as I was hesitant to pay nearly $400 for sneakers in damaged packaging. Once again, I was met with the same dismissive response—“Tough luck, we’re not doing that for you.” When I requested to speak with a manager, I was informed that he was “too busy eating” to address my concerns. After waiting, he eventually came out, only to tell me, “We can’t help you.”
This level of customer service is unacceptable, particularly when customers are expected to pay such high markups for sought-after sneakers. At the very least, I expected some level of acknowledgment and effort to provide a better experience. Instead, I was met with indifference and a lack of professionalism.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I cannot justify shopping at Common Hype in the future if this is how customers are treated. I would appreciate a response regarding this matter and what can be done to rectify...
Read moreFirst off Brandon signed my box lid to my Zion lows what a legend! Thankful for the added story. Just need a fit for them. Um they always have lightly used kicks for decent prices. And if you watch their content they’re passionate on making sure the product is A1 for their customers. Especially higher end pairs! I sell on the side to help my folks so I definitely appreciate what they drop throughout each day. Cause they drop heat man and that honestly moves better for me than general releases. Even if it may not be an item that I’m buying I’ll still show support by reacting to the story with a flame emoji! They put out a fat steal by mistake and still honored it. So I am definitely keeping the steal going! They’re legit! They also sell more than shoes, these guys drop shorts for the culture, tees, socks. They did a fire work wear drop a few weeks ago too. Heard they got the best socks in the game! Ohhhh not to mention like higher prices items say you drop a bag or two..they will reach out to you to make sure your card wasn’t fraudulently used which is super professional! And they’re definitely down to earth and care about you. Someone shake my hand already. Sheeeesh. Anyway real genuine, and the real deal. Yes I am a subscriber to their YouTube. I do try to still tap in even though I’m working on my stuff over here. Shop with them. Embrace their brand. Future of the industry! Dang that was...
