I came to this business thinking I would receive excellent service due to the great reviews on Google. However, it was my WORST experience ever! I came in, and two ladies in the back only yelled, "how can I help you?" I informed them that I wanted to have my nails removed (from a previous place). They said okay and asked me to have a seat. I wanted to have my nails "professionally" removed to prevent any further damage and pain to my natural nails. To my surprise, the lady grabbed a fake nail from her desk and started YANKING my acrylic nails, to which I told her it hurt, and asked if she could do the soak to have them removed easier. She said, "no, we don't do that because it takes too long." I assured her I was aware and had enough time to wait. She said no, "your nails are old and will take too long." Again, I said it was okay; I had time and could wait. She began speaking in another language and went to the back to get the supplies. She seemed upset when she came back, and I told her that if she didn't want to do it, it was okay, I could just go somewhere else. She said, " it just takes too long, I will do it, but it takes too long." I felt like an inconvenience instead of a customer. I was paying for the services I requested, so I am unsure why she was upset. Essentially, she had me soak my nails in acetone and then removed my nails. However, she hurt my nails and even made me bleed. It was excruciating. I am attaching a photo so you can see it. She also didn't clean up the acrylic residue from my fingers. It was such a bad experience. It's sad because I had actually come in and complimented them on how nice the salon looked; I thought this would be my "home" nail salon...WRONG.

Nancy was highly recommended by none other than… my then Property Manager turned good friend. This was a long overdue review as I did one months ago via YELP and completely forgot to add one here. Nancy’s spot is clean-pretty-and welcoming. I got lucky to have been receiving my service from Nancy herself-the owner! I’ve had the pleasure working with a few of her staff too and all were wonderful, friendly, and provided excellent service! I can only speak for my own experiences; so far, through months of coming here the quality of work especially like myself when I type for work daily-they would break or crack but here at BareCoat, my nails lasted for weeks... weeks! No issues and no lifting. I regret not taking more photos then but my most recent trip, I finally remembered to take one! 🙂 Found my go-to nail salon and if I were you, I'd call Nancy today! Thanks girl and can’t wait to see you again soon!

I stopped by for a basic manicure as a trial run before coming back for a pedicure, and I was pleasantly surprised! This small salon has a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. The other two nail techs were chatting with what seemed like regular clients, creating a friendly vibe. My technician seemed to pick up on the fact that I’m not a big talker, asking only the necessary questions to provide great service and letting me check emails and messages in peace. Upon entering, there's the expected scent of acetone, but it mellows out quickly and doesn’t cause a headache while you're getting pampered. Prices are very reasonable, and they offer a variety of payment options, including Zelle, CashApp, and Apple Pay, which makes checkout super convenient. Looking forward to coming back for my pedi!

WOW. I came here because my roommate recommended this place. We live super close so I decided to give it a try. I called ahead and Nancy answered. She was so friendly and welcoming, told me to come on in. When I got there, Nancy greeted me and asked for my name. Not only did she remember my name throughout my visit, but she actually interacted and joked around with me. She was SUCH a sweet woman.

I got the CBD bath bomb pedicure and it was the best pedicure I’ve ever had in my life. I had my nails and toes done regularly every 2-3 weeks for the past 15 years, so this is really saying something. It felt more spa like than nail salon and was super clean. I hadn’t had a pedicure since before the salons shut down for covid and I really needed it. She took such good care of me; I was so embarrassed that it had been so long, but she made me feel comfortable. She was attentive, paying attention to all the details, etc. and my feet have truly never felt better!

I also had a full set done. She was so particular in asking me exactly how I wanted it; I could tell the salon genuinely cared about client satisfaction. I’m not the easiest person to work with, as I move a lot and my hands never relax. The nail tech had to keep redirecting me but was so polite and patient every time—something I’m definitely not used to!!

Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will definitely be making this my regular nail salon. I left feeling...

Really beautiful salon, it’s a shame they charge for services they don’t provide. I went in for a full set of acrylics. I don’t care for gel. They insisted I have gel, I declined. They then proceeded to charge for gel regardless, they also charge for nail shape, basic shape, lol, I guess if you want your nails filed they charge for shape. It’s sad, I would have gone back and been a regular client, but I don’t agree for paying for something I don’t want. If you like gel polish over acrylics, cool, if you don’t, I recommend you go somewhere else.—-TO the owner’s response, you do charge for something you don’t provide, every single salon charges more for gel, if the client doesn’t want it, adjust the price, here’s the reality, I paid less than I would have, I’m an excellent tipper, I tipped zero because I was charged for something I specifically don’t want. So, in the end, you lost an amazing client and your nail techs didn’t get tipped. I would feel bad but they are complicit in this. It’s all good, your greed saved me about 30 dollars and you lost a client. That’s not how I would do business but to...
