It was very uncomfortable and I was disappointed with the service today. I had an appointment set up I wanted a fill for my acrylic nails with design but I saw them struggling with short stuff. So I decided to not put to much trouble on them and asked what would be easier for them so they advised to remove the nail plus do gel with design. I had my nails soaked for a very long time since they didn’t have people. So they had their receptionist that’s with no license try to remove the acrylic nails. Having to set their for hours with no one to attend me even though I had an appointment . This actions caused me to have irritation in my skin, swollen hand and a allergic reaction. I felt my skin burning so I decided to tell them I don’t want nothing else done to me because I didn’t want to set there for hours not being attended. After that I head to the ER to get it checked because it got worse my skin started to pile off and was very red and had the worst burning in my skin from the chemicals they use to remove the nails that I had to soak my nails for an hour and a half. I did mention to them my skin felt like it was burning but they just looked for a second and didn’t care. They kept on telling me to soak the nails. Honestly I would of loved if they were honest and say they couldn’t help me instead of having me set there for hours and suffer with burning my skin with their chemicals or have unlicensed people try to remove my nails. I am also pregnant and all I wanted was to be care for and have a relaxing time but instead ended up in the ER. Worst place I’ve ever been and I do not recommend it.
I can’t believe an apology is saying how it’s my fault why everything happened. Your short stuff don’t take clients if you can’t do your job that’s being ask by your client and going to be paid for. Is not an apology by blaming your customers and I understand what I put on my appointment and honey that’s why I asked if it can be change. You guys accepted! Omg this is ridiculous! Own up to your mistakes and learn how to manage customers with...
Read morePaying over $70 for a pedicure and leaving with calluses on your feet is not okay! I have thought about if I would leave this review or not because I know that a negative review can impact a business. After giving it lots of thought, I have decided to share my view because people deserve to know.
This place is outrageously overpriced. $45 for a basic pedicure. On top of that, I was pressured into choosing a gel nail polish color even though I asked for non gel. The designation that gel polish costs FIFTEEN DOLLARS EXTRA is not posted anywhere upon entering the shop, which is where I was pressured to select my color. It is only after you sit down and are already in the process of receiving your pedicure that a small menu of additional fees are accessible, but only if you ask for the menu.
The pedicure itself was mediocre at best. My nails were not trimmed, only filed. The calluses I had on my feet were not properly removed, even though this was a service that should have been part of the package I chose. The technician went through the steps of removing calluses, it's just that she did a terrible job. Keep in mind that my feet are well taken care of to begin with.
My nails were filed down to nothing before the gel polish was applied. Why she didn't just use a clear polish with ridge filler is beyond me, she didn't ask before she was grinding away and it is honestly anxiety inducing.
Communication is not easy because there is a language barrier, so I'm not sure how much of this is on me vs how much is the technician. Either way, for these prices I would expect quality but I didn't receive it.
The technician was visibly disappointed with the amount of the tip I left, a tip which I felt was reasonable and fair. The attitude just isn't right.
On the upside, the massage chairs are nice, but still not worth the extra cost imo. I will not...
Read moreHorrible service. I was told the wait would be 10 mins but waited 30mins with my feet in cold water before getting worked on. She didn’t clean under my nails or trim the nails like I asked just did a bare minimum job filing them. I paid extra for callous removal and still had some left on the heel of my foot. The pedicure menu is right next to the pedicure chairs and it lists additional costs for additional services. Nowhere does it list an additional charge for chrome finish on top of the Polish. I have never paid extra for chrome on top of my gel polish at any salon, the only charge should have been for the gel. However, I was scammed out of an extra $20 at checkout added to my gel and pedicure costs for “custom amount” which I was advised was due to her putting chrome finish on top of the gel polish. At no point did the nail tech tell me it would be an extra cost for chrome, her excuse was she forgot. What’s worse is she used the wrong tool to apply the chrome so it took forever and in the end she didn’t fully cover the nail with chrome you can still see white polish all around the nail. To be sneaky and charge extra for chrome which is not an additional service and not listed as an extra charge on their menu and not even apply it properly is insane. The pedicure took so long that they were closed and unable to fix my pedicure properly. I paid $82 for a bad pedicure and was scammed. They even added a tip for themselves....
