I would suggest you don't visit this store. I rarely give 1 star ratings, but my interaction with this store (specifically the female manager working on Monday, October 27, 2025) ensure that I wouldn't recommend this store to my enemies. To be succinct, I purchased a suit (and the staff was helpful, and very knowledgeable) on a Saturday evening. My wife wanted me to get another suit, that wasn't available in my size. They took off the tags of the suit that fit, pressed the suit, and I took it home. I wore it on Sunday (to Church) and wasn't as impressed. I went back Monday after work to return the suit. I had the "number" for the suit that my wife wanted us to purchase for Christmas that we'd have to order (these suits are expensive and will likely require saving up, at least for the 90% of society that doesn't have lots of expendable income to devote to clothing), and we wanted some shorts for my son, etc . However, the suit my wife wanted for me was about $150 cheaper than the one I'd bought. We never got that far though. The manager wouldn't allow me to return the original suit. After asking me questions like "do you think it's fair that businesses have to take returns?" the manager confirmed that any changes to the suit (including tags being removed) makes it so that she won't accept a return. When we explained that the tags were removed IN the store before we left, she confirmed that we wouldn't have been able to return the suit if we walked out the door, turned around, and came right back in. She seemed to take pleasure in showing us a sentence on the back of the receipt that said "returns are at managers discretion". She then told us that it was her 'discretion' to decline the return. Reaching out to store HQ, to confirm their return policy, wasn't too helpful either. In one of their emails (see attached photo) they confirmed that "the full details of our policy may not be explicitly listed..." but returns are at the discretion of the manager. Let me be clear: I don't have an issue with rules around return policies (if they are "explicitly stated" somewhere other than in the managers head), and I realize I should have been more picky when I went the first time. In truth, I've purchased things in the past that I later regretted and couldn't return; and I agree that's not the businesses fault. I can give those businesses higher Google Review ratings, despite my regrets. In this case, sadly, an otherwise good store with helpful staff turned into a terrible experience because of an unprofessional, uninterested manager that was more interested in keeping one sale, then helping customers understand an undisclosed policy, and get all the products they actually wanted. For me, I suggest that you steer clear...
Read moreNot sure if I am qualified to review anything fashion related, but I'll take a shot. My life is mostly lived in Dockers and long-sleeve button down shirts, so a buying a suit is an infrequent and sometimes time-consuming confusing and challenging chore.
I am not a good or willing shopper and the time and energy needed generally makes it an exhausting chore. However, this time, it was not so bad.
Planning and prep contribute to favorable results, as does having a good team. Knowing what you want, or being with someone who knows what you want makes a big difference. Suit shopping in casual clothes was a rookie mistake, but while at this store, I bought a dress shirt and borrowed dress shoes, so things got better.
When we arrived, a salesman met us at the door and held it for us. My wife and I provided info about expected sizes, desired colors.
Not to go all Downton Abby, but my wife, the salesman, and the tailor, gave incredible help dressing and handling clothes. I now have a glimpse of how much time the lord of the manor portrayed in the PBS series must have spent on dressing and how much time his valet saved him.
We cycled through six or seven grey, black and blue jackets to find a good option. The first pair of trousers were a fit, and a pair of Florsheims in my size and a shoe horn quickly appeared to facilitate fitting the pants and marking their cuffs. We had options for the coat sleeves and they were patient as we evaluated them.
Things didn't seem rushed, but they seemed professional and efficient. I am certain this was the shortest time from arrival to exit for any suit I have purchased as an adult. I give this store high marks for service, selection, natural material (cotton shirt, wool suit and pants), turn around time for tailoring, and the price...
Read moreFirst it wasn't my intent to post this as a Google review however I couldn’t find a direct email to the store, so here goes. Was in Tempe for a work event that carried over an extra day, so I needed something to wear. Where else to go but Men’s Wearhouse! Was looking for anything casual but ended up going with a full suit. I was familiar with the brand, so I thought it was a win. I know my sizes and how I like my clothes to fit me. This particular jacket and pants combo came with a free shirt. I gave the young lady who was helping me (she was great) my size. I heard someone say, THAT’S NOT GOING TO FIT HIM! I gave him my size again, he said the shirt is very slim and you won’t get in it. Now this assumption was made without a tape measure or even opening the shirt for me to try on. I’ve lost 80 lbs. in the last year and a half so yea I can be a little sensitive when someone judges your size knowing how hard I’ve worked. Anyway, I’m proud of my size and I love my fitted clothes. He tried to get me in another brand to which he still felt would not fit me. At this point I’m ready to go so I told the young lady to give me the biggest size, since I’m buying the suit and the shirt is free. I got back to my hotel and decided I’m going to try the shirt on, you guessed it, the shirt was too big. I took it back for the original size I requested in the first place. Going to leave it at the fact of judging me by my weight and not judging me by something else, as if I didn’t know what I wanted. I will stick to what I know...
