I cannot begin to praise Jacob and his fabulous staff enough! I have been avoiding finding a new stylist because once they find out I have a hard time coming every 6-8 weeks for maintenance, they all of a sudden can't find time to schedule me anymore. As a busy mom to two, wife, student, and employee, I tend to forget about myself. After several recommendations about Jacob, I finally made an appointment for a much needed cut. The best decision I ever made! I always tell my stylist to do whatever they think would look best because I have no sense of style or trend...and sometimes it has worked out for me and sometimes it hasn't. He suggested a long bob and it was beyond flattering! I then booked an appointment to add color for the first time in several years...freaking gorgeous! I post before and afters so you can see the amazing job he performed. There is no shortage of knowledge coming from Jacob or his staff! I also had the wonderful pleasure of having a deep condition and best brow wax to-date by Maria. She was very meticulous about waxing my eyebrows (which I don't let many people touch). Everyone is willing to explain anything you want to know from what technique they are using to how to use a styling tool or product. They are the first salon to ever offer me an aromatherapy towel for my face while getting my hair washed which was much more relaxing than I expected, offered me some wine to unwind with, and the most amazing homemade chocolate truffle I have ever eaten (And I am a chocoholic so I don't say that lightly). Bottom line...if your not a client at Dapper & Dashin Salon and Shop, you are truly...

Wish I could be like most the other reviews here but we just walked out from a horrible zero star experience. Had an appointment time for a child as a first time customer because we unfortunately had to miss our normally scheduled Appt with our regular barber(not at Dapper and Dashin). It was busy when we arrived and there were no chairs available to wait which is fine for me as an adult, an anxious child not so much. He chose to wait outside until a chair was available and we sat down. We sat for 30 minutes with no acknowledgment. I did ask at the 20 min mark and was told we would be taken right back. After another 10 minutes still nothing so we got up to let them know we would be leaving. While at the front desk the stylist that we had the appointment with overheard me telling them I would be leaving and very rudely said she had been running behind. All of that would have been fine if someone had at least acknowledged us and let us know. None of which happened. A manager did come up and try to remedy the situation by offering to discount the services. No thank you. I don’t have a problem paying for good customer service, however none of which was received. Will never return and wouldn’t recommend this...

Karen is truly a miracle worker! My partner and I had our hair done by her, and we genuinely couldn’t be happier with the results. She not only listened carefully to what we wanted but somehow made it even better than we imagined. Karen has an incredible eye for detail and made the entire experience feel so personal and relaxing — from the moment we sat in her chair, we knew we were in great hands.

She worked magic on both of us, perfectly capturing our individual styles while keeping everything cohesive and polished. It’s rare to find a stylist who can balance creativity with precision so beautifully, but Karen does it effortlessly. Our hair feels amazing, looks fantastic, and the compliments haven’t stopped since we left the salon!

Beyond her talent, Karen’s warmth and professionalism made the whole appointment a joy. She’s not just a stylist; she’s an artist and a genuinely wonderful person to be around. We’re already looking forward to our next visit — there’s no one else we’d trust with our hair!
