Our family of four did the Lost Tomb of Anubis today and it was AMAZING! It was our first escape room and count us skeptical going into it. When we got to the parking lot and it was in a strip mall we thought it was going to be a mistake. We walked in and immediately noticed brick accents on the wall and cameras/tv screens everywhere. It was clean and very high-tech looking. The two ladies that greeted us were very friendly and explained everything to us. One of them took us to a waiting area where the tv on the wall played the intro to the experience. After setting the stage, she took us to the escape room and the clock started. We were literally shocked at the attention to detail of everything in the room. The decorations, the lighting, and the sounds were so immersive that you really feel like youāre in a tomb. The clues and riddles are so challenging that you cannot help but be immersed in the journey to solve them and escape the room. The game masters were excellent and knew when to ānudgeā us to keep us progressing through the puzzle. They also give you updates about your progress - you are 25%, 50%, 75% complete. All of the nudges and updates come from a tv mounted on the wall so you are still not interacting with anyone else contributing again to the immersive nature of the room. That is what worked so well - feeling like youāre really there and always working on the next puzzle and deciphering the next clue that the time flies by. We couldnāt believe when we escaped the room that we had been at it for 50 minutes! What a great experience ! I HIGHLY recommend that you check out this escape room - you wonāt be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDid the cell block jail escape experience. Game was well-run and our host / game master was friendly and explained things well. I participated with a group of 8, with ages ranging from 10 years old to 40+. Everyone had a great time. Even the youngsters could participate and this theme was age-appropriate. The game itself was challenging and, truth be told, we did have to get a few hints along the way, but my group DID finish in just under an hour. There was lots of excitement every time we solved a puzzle, or figured out the clue, and advanced the game. The positive momentum kept us going.
They do have complimentary lockers in the lobby with a key you can keep on your wrist in case you have anything, like a purse, you donāt want to bring into the game experience.
All in all, a fantastic and memorable activity and I canāt wait to try...

Currently, the Temple location is only offering one all ages room and itās still on the scarier side - we ended up having to take 2 kids out. Loud noises, jump scares, flickering lights and different lighting scenarios. Keep your child and their anxiety level in mind when deciding for younger kids. I didnāt think Egyptian tombs would be too scary with mom and dad for my 5 and 9 yo - but the jump scares and a skeleton mixed with the excitement of something new was too...
