It's not bad. It's more like a fast food place, you order at the counter and they bring the food to you, everything is served in plastic or paper trays. Keep in mind my husband and I are really picky about sushi, we've been to Japan and have had some of the best.
Best thing on the menu in my opinion is the hibachi, but it is pricey at $14-15 a plate.
We had the avocado eel roll and it was okay, had a lot of avocado with a little eel. Eel is normally soft but it was softer than what I'm used to having, not sure why but it was a bit off putting. The rice seemed a bit overcooked but I've had worse, it was tolerable to me. We would like to try other rolls in the future, but eel is always our top favorite so we felt a bit let down. The preparation of it at least was perfect. The takoyaki was a bit disappointing because it's usually mouth burning hot, instead it was warm on the outside and cold in the middle. Also had the brown sugar boba tea which I'm guessing is an instant/pre-made brand (not like this is a milk tea shop) and I enjoyed it but I'm not picky about milk teas.
I've had worse and would come back just because I don't think there is any other decent sushi nearby (you have to drive to Dallas for good sushi imo.) It's better than Tokyo Harbor or Panda...
Read moreMe and my Husband ordered the Chicken Hibachi with noodles, Salmon Teriyaki with rice, the “Terrell” sushi roll, and the Gyoza appetizer. Everything was amazing. Everyone was really nice in explaining any questions we had about the menu. We also got the Brown Sugar Boba and it was delicious. Definitely recommend! This will be our new go to spot in town. Next time we go we’ll have to take pics of the food, we were just so excited to try it we forgot to take...
Read moreSo I got their teriyaki chicken with extra sauce and noodles, California rolls with crab, and the spicy salmon with extra salmon and it was really good. $44 is what I spent but honestly worth it. You get 8 rolls per order, and the amount of food from the teriyaki chicken and noodles was enough to fill me and I'm a large person. I work at the GameStop right next door, and honest...
