Hobby Lobby — Local services in Terrell

I have PTSD after experiencing this store! I’ve literally never been in a hobby lobby that has the aisles blocked with stock to be put on the shelves. It felt like I was at Walmart at 1055pm. Several aisles were not even accessible. The 90% off clearance items did not have the prices marked. At least I knew better that to pickup anything from that section. Then the shelf I chose that should have been 50% off, I was told is from the gift department and was therefore regular price. And the metal hat hook was also considered gift department and was not part of the metal hardware 50% off sale. The checkout woman was quite rude about my misunderstanding of their departments. I have this exact same shelve that I bought when shelves were 50% off and I got the sale price. How silly of me to not know it’s not a shelf, it’s somehow a gift?? Will not be going back to the Hobby Lobby on...

brought something from here …. decorated for christmas just for it to break (it was already wiggly when we bought it) we tried exchanging it back but they were acting like we actually broke it idk if it was because of our skin color they didn’t even try to help as much (we had our receipt) we had to literally press to speak to the manager and then when we spoke with her she said “this isn’t even from here” without even trying to hear us out we had to tell her we had the receipt it was a huge thing for nothing we felt really profiled all we wanted to do was exchange it that’s it! we’ll never come here again (they exchanged it but we had to go through all that) be aware before...

This Hobby Lobby is about the same as others, except this one has A/C issues. It’s almost always hot in here. That’s ok to deal with, really. But what isn’t easy to deal with is just like my experience with most hobby lobby stores, the employees are super UNfriendly. No smile, they rarely interact with you. I say hi, and I’m ignored. I just don’t get it. Why do almost all hobby lobbies have this? Weird. Regardless, I gave it a couple of extra stars because to be honest, this location has some pretty great deals when there’s a clearance. I can usually find some items especially in the paper section that are marked down like 75%. Redeems this...
