Absolutely worst experience of my life. Obviously no manager on duty on Christmas eve. Nobody with any authority. I had a question about a jacket that had no price. The only one there of it's kind. I had been to 4 other stores looking for a jacket for my daughter. So I asked a store worker what to do. She said I have to stand on the Check out line to ask them at the counter, So I stood on line for 20 minutes just to ask a question. When I asked the price of the jacket, they all searched and said there is none. I explained that we already established that, that's why I'm standing there asking how much it is. She said she would send someone over to the jacket isle and to meet them at the isle. I waited another 20 minutes before having to ask the lady at the jewelry counter. She finally got a nice young lady to help me. She said we have to match it to another ticket on another jacket so they could print the tj maxx price tag. So she found 2 of them. One was 40.00 dollars more one was 10.00 cheaper. She said she'll match it up to the 10.00 one, which means the jacket would have been 32.00. I said fine. She then took it to the counter and the other cashier came over and said no. It's 48.00 take it or leave it. Now I have been there for over an hour. I told this person that the other girl already said 32.00. She took the jacket and walked away. So regretfully, I paid the 48.00 dollars for a 32.00 jacket. I was hardballed into this on Christmas eve. At this point this person is standing there staring me down as if to fight with me. The only person who asked if I was OK was the older cashier that helped me with the sale. She apologized for the other girls actions. After leaving the store I realized I left my glasses on the counter and went right back in, and all the cashier's said no glasses which left me to believe the girl the was staring me down threw them away. I told my daughter I will never step foot in that store again. No manager, rude workers. Standing there talking about me right in front of me as if i wasn't there. Marshall's and Target never treated me like this. How can you have a department store with no manager? SMH. I See nothing but bad reviews about this place. It hasn't been open long enough to have this many bad reviews. Thanks...
Read moreWorse experience ever. The fact that the cashier's are having a full blown conversation and laughing about how to check the purse to see if I stole one of the Karl bags enamel pins on it. I have you know I returned it because I didn't need it. And I don't have to steal a damn thing I can afford anything and everything I want. There was no need to have this type of conversation in front of your customers. Very unprofessional and super disrespectful. I used to work retail and we never had these types of conversations in front of customers there used to be this thing called respect? Never shopping here or coming in here again. I'll take my business elsewhere. And if there is some sassy disrespectful reply from the company after this. You just proved my point. Because as we all know I can't reply back...
Read moreWas so excited when this store opened but I find myself still driving out to Matamoras or Dickson City instead. This store doesn’t seem to stock as much or really work as hard as our other locations. For whatever reason, a month away from Easter there is only two small tables with what looks like decor from last year. Haphazardly scattered on the tables. TJX in Matamoras, Dickson City and Newton NJ are FLOODED with stuff! I shop here weekly just to check in and it’s usually a disappointment. My last two visits I stood on a growing line with one girl checking out and two women, one the store manager, standing in the far corner of the cash wrap loudly laughing and talking. The girls in front are always pleasant but this store needs to push stocking more...
