Joe Lujan helped us both times we came into the store, the first time to scout about and the second to buy the chair we’d fallen in love with. He was very helpful while we were looking and answered all our questions, and somehow managed to check in on us as we browsed without making us feel uncomfortable. Some people in other stores have made us feel guilty when we tried to sit in the chairs, by how they kept pushing and watching us go around the store, but Joe put us right at ease. I didn’t even feel awkward when he came around the corner to find me fully reclined and in danger of falling asleep in the chair I loved! We haven’t picked it up yet, but I am confident that this chair is perfect for us, and if all the salespeople at Ashley’s are as good as Joe is, we will definitely be back when we need...

I visited the furniture store with just browsing in mind. I just wanted to get an idea of what I might want. I was greeted by Joe Lujan who knew the assignment! He answered all my questions and left us to walk around. About 20 minutes in I found a painting but needed a price check and like clockwork Joe was there as if he anticipated it needed help. This went on for the entire visit. I ended up buying everything for my living room. Too often I have shopped in this type of store and was always annoyed by the over-whelming pressure to by and not being able to take a breath because the staff was attached to my hip. We bought a breakfast nook table and bench set. I had been shopping around for the longest time and LOATHE buying furniture online because I much prefer quality over quantity, and want to be able to see feel how well made a piece is. It just so happens that Sparks had one in stock. I reached out to them and John got back with me in a very timely manner. He was very professional and pulled the table out so I could go down and check to ensure it was as thick and sturdy as it looked online.
