I haven’t always had curly hair but over the years my hair has transitioned from a wavy, loose style to more defined curls. I continued to see the same hair stylist but always felt like my hair was asking for more care and attention. Thankfully, I found The Curl Space! During my initial visit, Ashtyn sat down with me and took the time to complete a comprehensive assessment of my hair goals, needs, and concerns. She listened intently and provided education throughout the entire session. After my visit, she provided a specially crafted hair guide that fit my hair needs!

I can confidently say my curly hair journey has been shaped by her knowledge and expertise. I now visit her for maintenance appointments every few months and during these appointments she starts with “So tell me what you’ve liked about your style and what you want to focus on.” To have someone listen with the intent to educate is so powerful! Her space is devoted to providing an opportunity for her clients to grow and learn in a judgement-free zone.
