I went to the one off of 4679 State Hwy 121 in The Colony TX last month. I must state I have been with Metro for over 20 years and always paid my bill on time. On the Saturday I went - when my husband and I walked in - after minutes a girl finally walked out from the back and seemed completely annoyed that we had bothered her. I didn't want to put her out anymore than she seemed, I just needed to replace my phone - picked one (in quiet my husband was telling me we should just go). However - I can state this - I have never walked into any of these stores and experienced this - we've always loved the service. I don't know what happened with her - but we will never go back to that store - and considering we were the only one's there in an early evening on Saturday - I am assuming there was a reason why that store was so empty. I asked about possibly a cover for my new phone and she just casually threw her hand up and said 'we have a few over there and that's it'. Read moreI went with my brother so he could get a new phone. I left felt like the man at the store was trying to take advantage of my brother because he wasn't tech-savvy. We went in to see if he could upgrade to a new phone, and the man helping us didn't even look to see if we could. We had an unlocked phone, and he charged almost $30 to switch the information to a new phone. I could have done it for free. Then he acted like we were getting a screen protector free with purchase, put it on, then charged us over $20 for it. Never said he was charging us until it was already on the phone. I could have gotten at least three screen protectors for that. This is horrible customer service. On top of that, it was so hot in the store, I thought I was going to pass out (as did my brother, who has heart problems). I previously purchased phones at this location in the past spending over $200 to over $400 dollars+ and one would think i would get better treatment. Smh. I visited this location very recently and told the representative I wanted to purchase a new phone and needed help. The representative did not provide any explanations of phones and I wasn't shown or told about any new phones or offers. The customer service and my treatment was really awful.
