Henriquez Pizza — Restaurant in Thomasville

Fantastic pizza! Great addition to Thomasville.

So I'm adding to my review to do Henriquez justice:

Yesterday's pizza was a simple pepperoni and mushroom. And man oh man, was it amazing! When you are bombarded by non stop pizza commercials on TV, the taste you imagine is the taste that Henriquez delivers. I like Marco's. It's cheap and it's quick and if you eat it within 15 minutes of it being made, it's okay. I order a small because Marcos pizza doesn't reheat well. I'm in tastebud heaven right now though: 6 minutes at 350 degrees on parchment paper in the oven, and my Henriquez pizza tastes as amazing as it did last night when I brought it home! I'm not usually a crust eater, but with an Henriquez pizza, that tiny sliver of lightly salted, cooked to perfection dough is a delight!. My only complaint, they were a bit light handed with the mushrooms (see second pic). Hence forth, all my pizzas will be from Henriquez! Worth the price! Do your tastebuds a favor and give them some Henriquez Pizza TODAY! Henriquez should really branch out with toppings like fresh basil, goat cheese and fig. They could make some serious hippie pizzas that taste amazing, if they wanted to. Their base dough and pizza sauce could easily support any number of toppings --...

Tried this place out because our plans for a home cooked dinner was a bust, and I like to support local businesses and let me say, I'm glad that our original didn't work out because I've been trying to find a decent pizza place around here and being from a New York family we are hard to please. However, I didnt find a decent pizza place, I found an EXCELLENT pizza place. Henriquez Pizza has got to be the closest thing to a New York pie I have ever had!! First off the grease is perfect, if you don't know why that's important stop reading my review because everyone who knows a good NY Pie knows what I'm talking about. The flavor is unmistakable, the quality of the ingredients is evident and even the texture of the crust is flawless. MOVE OVER Elizabeth's a new player has entered the ring! I will be returning as this is now my GO TO N.Y. Style...

I visited earlier today and ordered a big slice lunch combo with fries and a drink. It was good. I wouldn't advise anything else off the menu as i asked the lady about a few things I settled on the cheesesteaks stromboli. It was that or a regular cheesesteak. She assured me i wouldn't need to order extra meat because it comes with alot. (Im from Philly and have yet to find a good place that can make a good cheesesteak without skimming on the meat) i ate the slice combo in house and took the stromboli to work with me for lunch. And to say i was disappointed is an understatement. It had to have maybe 2 oz of meat in it. All bread and cheese. I wouldn't recommend anything but the pizza. Update: a year later I tried again with a Stromboli. And it’s the same outcome. All bread and cheese. Definitely do...
