
One of the worst places I've ever been and I advise all my Black & Hispanic brothers and sister NOT to be a patriot to this establishment. On Tuesday, April 26, 2016 I went to this bowling alley for the first time in my life. After paying for a couple games and shoes my guests and I proceeded to the lane(31) that we were assigned. We notice there were some technical difficulties with the lane before even bowling one time so I went to the counter where I just paid my money and asked the "young" lady if we could be moved to lane 30 because there are some issue with the lane you gave us. Little did I know once you have paid, all customer service goes down the drain. She was rude, inconsiderate, and never acknowledge my presents after sitting at the countertop for almost 5 minutes and asking several times if we have been moved to lane 30. The whole time she pretty much ignored me until I asked for a refund and that really got her attention because she was ecstatic to tell me that they don't give refunds and I told her we never bowled one time. She proceeded to call security because I advised her I will definitely get a refund. The security guard who is, from his words an off duty police officer initially approached me in a kind of aggressive manner. But once we talked and I expressed my concerns, I guess from my verbiage he could tell even though I am Black, I'm not there usually demographic and/or stereotypical black customer. Him and I talk for several minutes and he seems like a good person and tried to resolve the issue, but didn't stick to his word at all. I was promised a refund or some free tickets for my guest to return at another time, which neither I received. Though me not getting any compensation for the horrible and rude service was not his doing but steemed from the Owner and Management. The assistant manager was present and never came to me to address the issue rather he sat their and continue to bowl.
Conclusion
There poor customer service steems from ownership. They don't care or not even concern about the patriots that put money in there pockets, mainly because the core demographic is Black & Hispanic. But I do know this Black Man isn't...
Read moreMy family and I came to this e establishment on June 3rd for my granddaughter' graduation. We paid for 2 games for 8 people paid $80. We had nothing but trouble with the lanes. We were moves to different lane and because something broke. But the labe they moves us to wasn't any better. Every other person had to bowl 3 times each for the score to calculate correctly. We had to tell the employee every 3rd time for the bombers to work right. It took over 2 hours for 8 people on 2 lanes to complete 1 game because of all the malfunctions. When I asked for a refund for the 2nd game I was told they didn't give refund and I was offered free game cards which I didn't want because I do not want to return to the place. The equipment is poorly maintained and they know it is and that is why they won't give refunds. I asked to speak with the owner and the so called manager wouldn't give me their information. I think it is bad business to see that a customer was having so a trouble experience and refuse to give a refund for the game we never started. I asked for the refund before the 1st game was complete. Read moreI recently visited Dolton bowl with my friends after hearing about the new ownership, and I have to say, the experience was fantastic! The renovations are incredible—everything feels fresh, modern, and welcoming while still keeping the fun, nostalgic bowling alley vibe.
The owner was extremely friendly and clearly passionate about making this place the best it can be. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and the experience they provide. The employees were working hard to keep up with the crowd, and even though they were busy, they were always polite and attentive.
