I had my screen repaired on my Galaxy S21 (water-resistant phone) here on May 16th. I was never told the water resistance rating was lower after the repair. My phone fell into a pool on July 28th, it immediately shut off and started overheating. I then noticed that water started leaking from the phone. My phone has been in contact with the same amount of water numerous times before the repair and I've never had issues before. Spoke to someone over the phone from CPR Cell Phone Repair and was told, I should have asked if the water resistance rating was still the same after the repair and that my phone was no longer water resistant and it shouldn't have been near water. I was also told that the warranty didn't cover water damage. I never received a warranty so when I asked for it on July 28th they didn't have it on hand so they said they would call me back when they found one. I'm still awaiting their call. I assumed when they repaired my phone that it would have the same manufacturing specifications. If it wasn't, I should have been told otherwise. Beware of getting your screen repaired as it will not have that IP68 water rating. Make sure you ask what's covered under the warranty because they will not tell you when you receive your phone.

I have yet to have anyone contact me regarding their warranty on water damage. From July 28th
As stated above, I was never told that my phone would be the same. This is the first time I've been officially told that. So I wasted my time and money taking my phone to CPR. I was better off spending $100 and getting a refurbished phone that's still...
Read moreAfter four years with having iPhones, my worst nightmare happened: while in a rush I dropped my phone face first on the cement, I cringed when a saw an awful (yet kinda neat looking) spider crack all over my phone. "Noooooo!!!" I cried! I franticly called Apple thinking they would be the best bet, and after dealing with their horrible automated system, and giving them numbers in my settings etc etc, they gave me a jaw dropping price, that made me want to throw my phone in rage. (who cares, it was already broken anyways) Well instead of throwing my phone, I texted my friend (without any cuts from the cracks, phew!) She suggested AM Cellphone Repair. I gave them a call, and talked to a human (YES!!!!) who quickly gave me a way better price than Apple, and said I could come in and get it fixed no appointment needed. Sweet!! I dropped off the phone, grabbed some lunch, and faster than my call with the Apple Store, they had it fixed like new!!! I had to contain my happy dance at the front counter. Now the cracked spider screen seems like it was nothing more than a bad dream I can shake off, and continue with my busy life. I would recommend these guys in a heartbeat! Fast service, competitive prices, and friendly staff; whats not to love! So if this just happened to you, don't sweat it! Come in, get it fixed, and move on with life; because life is way too short to be crying over...
Read moreThey were fast and cheap but they use extremely low quality glass. I had my iPhone6 for almost 2 years without the screen breaking (with dropping it multiple times with a case on). I then broke the screen on July 4 (completely my fault) and I got my phone fixed here. Extremely unfortunately, I dropped my phone the next morning and the screen broke (I even paid $15 extra for the additional screen protector!). I went back to see if they would replace the screen and not only would they not replace the screen, they wouldn't even give me a small discount! Additional, my charger is having trouble fitting correctly into the slot nick never happened before this experience either...All in all it was an awful experience. I have a broken phone that won't charge and the manager gave me 0 customer support. I get it's a business and every time someone broke a screen they can't fix it, but it was literally the day before and I paid the extra $15 for the protector so they can be a little compassionate. So If you're looking for a low quality and quick fix I would go here. Otherwise I...
