Pryors Orchards — Local services in Thurmont

We had heard good things so we decided to stop here. We went on a Sunday afternoon. When we walked into the barn market, there was barely any produce to buy?! They had two types of peaches, strong beans, 6 watermelon, I think they were beets?, and one type of apple. I was super confused as there was nothing amazing or great to buy here?! We got 5 peaches that were super overpriced. The lady who checked us out didn't smile at us once and barely talked to us. We definitely won't go here again and will visit other orchards in the area that have way more selection and better prices. This is the ruddest staff I ever seen in any place in general. They scream and yell at people. From the reception to the picking of the berries. We were there today and and an old lady just started screaming at everyone because they were eating from the trees. She snapped and was about to cry because of that. There is no signs saying you can't, and every other orchard we have been to allows you to eat berries from the trees. She also yelled at people because they were not wearing masks. Been going to Pryors for years now. Family owned, honestly amazing fruit and other goodies, the staff- smiles, helpful, and friendly. Go to pick or to grab a bag, you won't be disappointed. Perhaps you can say with me, " my peach cobbler is the best I have ever made because I bought peaches right off the trees at Pryor's." Love it!
