Goodwill — Local services in Thurmont

Every time I go to a new town and see a Goodwill, I have to stop.. there are some things that are kind of annoying about a lot of goodwills.. for example, all the stores give you different dates of return on electronics, which most of them are usually 24 hours, but THIS Goodwill gives you 3 days, which I LOVE. When I stopped at one in Harrisburg PA, they had a rewards member card which I thought was a great idea and I wish this one would participate in that program. But I do love this store out of all of them because about 95% of the time, everyone is super nice and helpful.. You would be surprised how many cranky people work at other goodwills. Was up in Thurmont today 8/30. Went over to both Goodwill locations and found some interesting items at good prices. Cases in great shape for the switch. Shoes almost in new conditions. Pebble speakers for the computer and also a 13 inch TV with HDMI and VGA hook ups. So the shopping was good today not great. It can be hit or miss, that is thrift shopping. The issues can be parking at both locations, do your best or walk. Registers have lines, live with it. The kids are everywhere just keep an eye out for them not to step on them... The prices here are absolutely ridiculous. The staff take forever to check everybody out. Even though there's five of them in the front they all work the same checkout line. Just pure laziness. The prices are through the roof. Just a terrible Goodwill. The greed Goodwill now has is absolutely disgusting. I can buy majority of the stuff that is listed at $30 to $50 at this Goodwill on eBay for $10 to $15 if you go to this Goodwill and you find something you like, you could probably buy it new for a...
