Absolutely Appalling Experience at Prime Communications ā Tifton, GA
If I could give this location negative stars, I would. My recent experience with Prime Communications in Tifton, GA was not just disappointingāit was downright unethical and infuriating.
The store is managed by someone named Maxwell, who exemplifies everything thatās wrong with customer service today. Instead of addressing concerns or offering solutions, he seemed more interested in deflecting blame and protecting the storeās image than actually helping a customer who had been misled.
The sales associate Patrick was not only completely inept, but also deceptive. He either lacks the basic knowledge necessary to properly explain contracts and promotions, or worseāhe deliberately misrepresents them to push sales. I was assured of one thing during the purchase, only to find out a day later they couldnāt honor the transaction.. When I called the store to address the discrepancy, both Maxwell and Patrick became dismissive and evasive.
The store manager, Maxwell said in his 7 years with the store mistakes like these happen. And they have 14 days from the time of purchase to rescind transactions or they would would charge my account an extra amount over $500, even though it was if their mistake. Really????
This wasnāt just a case of poor training or bad communication. It felt like a calculated effort to mislead customers into committing to services or devices under false pretenses. Thatās not just bad businessāitās unethical.Make sure to go to a real AT&T store not an unethical authorized retailer. Avoid this location at all costs unless you enjoy being treated like a walking dollar sign rather than a valued customer. She was helping a customer when I walked in and once she had finished with them, she asked if the next people were ready to which they replied, "No." She then asked the other gentleman what he needed assistance with, and she proceeded to help with his problem. After that, when I would think she'd ask what I needed help with, (being I was the next, and only other, customer in the store) she started talking to the first customers about how they had been and talking about other people and all of their problems.
