El patron — Restaurant in Tifton

Went for the first time today and it was horrible. First off, as soon as we walked into the building, there was a nasty smell. We stuck around because my husband and his employees were eating already and we wanted to have lunch with them. The buffet food didn’t look too appetizing so we ordered chicken fajita quesadillas from the menu and upon receiving them they looked greasy and burnt. I opened it up and there was hardly any cheese in it. My mom went straight for her salad and in that first bite she pulled a huge piece of hair out of her mouth. I was so disgusted but mom didn’t want to say anything because she felt bad for them. The waitress was just walking around the place and never even checked on whether we needed refills or anything else after she dropped our food off. Keep in mind the place was completely empty besides my mom and I and my husband with his 3 employees. I will definitely never be going back to this place. Wouldn’t recommend...

This restaurant has a buffet. The cost is 10.95 not including your drink. I will say the tamales were good, the chips and salsa were good and the rice and beans were pretty good. However-I was very disappointed that the buffet was not well stocked. It seemed as if they wanted us to fill up on rice while waiting for them to restock the other items. The excuse was, “we make everything fresh”. Ok well giving the benefit of the doubt and waiting 30 minutes for more food-the enchiladas they brought out we’re not even hot. So $27 for two adults with two drinks and we could have microwaved a better meal for half the cost. I don’t foresee them being open for long. I...

Pulled in parking lot at approx 2pm. Not a car in sight. Bad sign. The 3 of us went in any way. We were the only ones eating there. Salsa was very good, (they only bought out a small amount in 1 bowl barely covering the bottom), chips overcooked but still ok. They put us at a dirty table with a food stained menu. Rice was very good, salad was pretty good, chicken was not very good. My brother's chicken had a bone in it. My other brother had beef and he said it wasn't very good either. Sad because the salsa and rice very very good. We were from out of town so we had no idea of there reputation. Won't go back. Shame, mexican food is my favorite when...
