The store is nice enough. Lots of nice merchandise. I would say prices are mid range. But, the people working there I found to be a little snooty. I would think any small business owner would be overly friendly, especially in this day and age. When I recently went in there were two younger girls working and they were even snooty. I wanted to buy a mum that had a sign outside on them for $3.99. They told me mums were $9.99. When I went to leave and drove by them, sure enough sign said $3.99. I think how you treat your customers is very important and I must say, I don't think I will be going back. Mind you I used to live in Tipton and now I don't. To go there is a special trip. This was my first time at Horton’s. I drove 45 minutes just to visit this store because of their instagram. I was hoping it would be as amazing as it looked in their posts. It didn’t disappoint. Not only were all of their plants amazing (and reasonably priced), but their store is absolutely beautiful. I could have spent all day in there. To top it all off, the family that runs/owns the store were all so nice and helpful. And if you haven’t had the fudge…..you are missing out. My husband and I took our grandaughter to Hortons today .It was our first visit .They were so many beautiful things .I wanted them all.I ended up getting 5 house plants .Two pink bound books,4 vintage garden books ,some honey ,miniature flower pots to put in a small jar.I also got some lavender plants and some stock in the outdoor area .Everything was so nice .The staff was also nice and helpful.
