I've been shopping at Needler's way back when it was Marsh. I agree with most comments that the folks there are great. Always nice. However, my concerns are mostly more from the engineering part of my brain. I usually just by a few things because they're close and convenient. However, their pricing is not all that great even when using the old Marsh discount card. Their pricing is already higher than most places and the discount only puts it back to where it should have been. No big savings that I've seen. I don't trust ANY food from their cooler or freezer sections for they're always broke down. I've bought bread thats green in a couple of days. Had a loaf one time where a mouse had eaten a tunnel through it. I know they try but there doesn't seem to be much emphasis on cleanliness or modernization and variety. Okay place to pick up milk and snacks but I don't put emphasis on much else. I save my shopping for the bigger stores now a days. Don't mean to hurt feelings but being the only grocery store in the area they could put more effort in keeping their customer base. Tear down the place and build it nicer! Add variety! Keep me coming back instead of going 20 miles...
Read moreI have always loved this store, always has what I need. But recently my girlfriend and I have been having difficulty with one cashier named Beth. Even when I give compliments and apologize for the"Burden" of my presence. She consistently talks under her breathe on the reason why I come to her cash register instead of any of the other ones (I only have one or 2 items and she happens to be at the closest register, that also has a sign saying 10 items or less). She huffs and puffs and complains the entire time about why anyone at her register is such an inconvenience to her life. She acts like a miserable person that hates her job and would do anything to not work. Why give off such negativity? Really taints the small town and close community vibe Tipton has...
Read moreI love this store. It only has one negative. It has just about anything you would expect in a rural country store. I have had a couple issues come up that the management took care of promptly and fairly. It's always clean and bright. I would say that the prices are a little higher than other stores. But not much. My only real issue is the music that is played on the overhead music system. It's often very loud and harder rock music. I've actually had other customers ask me if it bothered me while I was shopping? I suggested that they make their concerns known to the management. It may sound a little petty, but sometimes I cut my shopping short because...
