I have had two great experiences so far. It is very refreshing to visit a store that still has the “small town” feel and “mom and pop” experience. The store is large, fully stocked with fishing gear, clean/organized, and staffed with several associates. I prefer the customer service and like when associates, who actually have knowledge in the field, help me out; even when I do not necessarily need help. On my last visit, I had the pleasure of working with Zack who helped me pick out a new rod, reel, and braided line. It has been nearly 13 years since I bought new gear and needed some pointers on what was current and well made. Zack was extremely knowledgeable and gave me excellent pointers. Not only do the associates take the time to help you, but they are also friendly. Zack told me that he loves his job because he gets to work in a field which he has a passion. When is the last time you encounter an employee who honestly tells you they love their job? Did I mention the prices are great? The prices are great! I also worked with Mike and another fella whose name I did not get. While re-spooling 4 of my old spools, Zack shared stories of he and his families local fishing experiences and shared local spots for me to try to tarpon fish. Who does that? I NEVER share a fishing spot. Overall, both of my trips to this store in Titusville were excellent and I have and will continue to recommend friends to visit this store as well. Shopped here a few times, building essentially an entire new rod locker and tackle bag. In doing so, learned lots about the area and saltwater trade from knowledgeable staff. Each time I went , I ended up engaging in educational conversations with them. After spending enough money to please the fish gods, and the help of heeded words from employees, I was rewarded with my first Snook. All gear operates & held up as expected, at a bonus price point. This was caught on a Daiwa Fuego 4000 w/ a St. Croix Inshore MH 7’ setup, using a popping cork recommended to me by staff, forget his name. This store blows bass pro and academy out of the water. Best priced brand name gear around. I read a review about not having Black Friday deals. How could they have Black Friday deals? If it was any cheaper they would have to give it to you for free. I’ve only been in this store twice and I’m addicted. So many things I want to buy even though I don’t need it because it’s such a great deal. Even the small amount of ammo they have is cheaper than any store I’ve been to.
