Went for lunch today about 10 til 3 8/17/21 to start with they handed us a mask as we walked in, no problem at all with that, place seemed clean, went to the buffet to find they were no gloves to be used due to covid but had to have a mask on lil odd. In my opinion. The buffet was nearly empty and dried up. Sure it was left from the lunch rush, barely warm no where near hot or a 140degrees per health code. I as for some dumplings cause they was one I was told no more today, ok whatever, we were there picking over dried up lunch remains for 49 min no one ever ask to refill our drink or how was things. The icing on the cake when she laid the check on the table I was charged for dinner pricing, we went to check out and I questioned the cashier. She said after three pm it’s dinner price, I replied then you should have out dinner foods not leftover lunch for people if you going up on price. We debated til a group of folks walked in and she did make the price for the lunch seeing how they just started at 3:30 putting dinner items out. If I’m wrong please let me know but if you switch from lunch to dinner pricing with a up charge then they should have dinner items available. Needless to say nothing was all that great so I...
Read moreI have eaten here for years and have been satisfied. Hibachi Grill, formerly 'Lin's Chinese Buffet' was never anything to write home about, but adequate. They always have the SAME choices, so there are no surprises. I ate lunch there with my family on February 20th. I was surprised to see 2 American speaking non-Asian hostesses so at least we could order drinks without confusion. But this time, I was terribly disappointed in the food. In tasting two of the chicken dishes, you could tell the meat had 'spoiled'. Unfortunately our Asian waitress acted like she could not understand me when I tried to tell her the meat was bad. Another issue was the waitress's rudeness. We would be LITERALLY chewing our last bite, with fork in hand and our waitress would swoop in and grab our plates. At one point, my daughter was still eating, and had gotten up to go to the restroom. Before we could say anything, her plate was grabbed up by the waitress, and gone -- fork, food and all. One thing I always look forward to when visiting is having a nice Chinese meal with my family and friends, but it will NOT be at the Hibachi...
Read moreWe used to eat here a few times a month, because I really like the sushi. However, the last time we were there, the owner spoke to us in such a rude manner that I will never eat here again. We ordered the buffet and as soon as I sat down, I started to feel a little ill. So, I asked the waitress if I would be able to take home what I had already put on my plate. Told her that I know I purchased the buffet but I was just not feeling well and could not sit and eat here to get my money's worth. She said "ok" and got me a take out plate. As soon as I put my food into the container, the owner came out (with the waitress) and proceeded to yell at me in front of everyone saying I had to pay an additional $5.95 per pound if I wanted to take that home. She is VERY lucky I was not feeling well. Anyways, the rest of the food is just your normal, average, chinese/american buffet - nothing to write home about, but as far as the service....terrible. They should at least learn to speak english so they can understand their customers who are...
