I love shopping at Troup’s Photo Shop located in beautiful downtown Toccoa Georgia. They are a family owned store and have been for many many years. In fact, they have been open for eighty-five (85) years in the same location! I was employed there during the early 70’s and was fortunate enough to work with Mrs. RA Troup. She took her time to share what she learned about customer service. I am proud to have know her along with Bob and Betty Troup and his sister Betty. Went into the store just this afternoon. I found a cute shirt that I wanted to buy, so I walked up to the counter and the woman working looked at me and then turned around and start speaking to someone else instead of coming and ringing me up. I would like it to be known that I have tattoos, purple and blue hair, and a nose piercing so this was obviously a case of socially profiling me. Love it! They have a great collection of all things Hallmark. From babies to grandparents and everybody in between, you will always be able to find a special gift for anyone on your list. They even have an atcher there, so you can make and personalize lots of different items.
